Editing Character page truncates long names

The character's name is 47 characters long (DnD gnome, sorry). When I edit the character page, the name field truncates to 41 characters. I can re-add the last 6 characters and it saves correctly, but if I do not re-add, then the truncated name is saved.

Can you please give me the system, the character you're working on (link, or give me the label, and I can look it up), and the name you're trying to enter? The system shouldn't be truncating at all, but I know at one point, I limited certain name fields to 50 characters. Truncating at 41, and conditionally, is really weird. Any non-alphabetic characters?

Entered name does have non-alphanumeric characters, maybe that's it.

and there is a space after aka, so the quotation mark is cut off.

I just edited the character's name to not use quotation marks, and the truncation has stopped.

Not a wild goose chase, still a bug! It should accept quotes, which I'll look into. I'll also make sure it's not truncating at 50. Thanks for letting me know.
