There are three primary known planes in this universe- Amaru, Ersatum, and Hilib, which correspond to heaven, earth, and the underworld respectively. Amaru is the dwelling place of most of the gods with the exceptions of Din Napisti and Ekeltu, the former presiding over the dead in Hilib, the latter banished from Amaru for his crimes. According to some legends, the gods have appeared on Ersatum in various guises throughout history, especially Butumt, who is most closely tied with the natural world.

The plane of Hilib is inhabited by factions of celestial and demonic forces that tend to the dead in distinct regions of Hilib.
There are also several other planes, such as the Astral and Ethereal planes, as well as a plane of utter elemental chaos. The plane of elemental chaos is not a traversable dimension as it is literally just a mixture of pure elements. The planes of Amaru, Estatum and Hilib are thought to have been created from the plane of elemental chaos by the first nameless god.

A spell which summons elementals doesn't summon an elemental from the plane of elemental chaos, but instead draws the associated energy from the plane of elemental chaos and gives it consciousness and form for the duration of the spell. There are tales of wizards travelling through another plane that exists as a strange shadow of the plane of Ersatum. Spells that conjure Fey creatures are just a summoning from one of the Fey Strongholds known to exist in the far corners of Erstaum.
