Scale: 1 hex = 6 miles
Sorry for my amazing MS paint skills. Places of interest (on an x,y coordinate system):
(1,1) to (4,23) the Ionic Ocean, which stretches out hundreds of miles past the map, but is mostly uncharted, aside from a few small islands. Notable exception is the Island of Myrrh located at (2,15), containing Serak Bethra: City of Myrrh, an independent city.
(24,2) to (30, 16) The Bronze Foothills leading into the Blackshield Mountains, so-named for the Blackshield dwarven clan that rules this area from Blackshield Keep (28,6). This mountain range also continues past the map for ~15 miles, beyond which are the unsettled lawless lands, said to be inhabited by the undead.
Also at (28,5) is Silver Lake from which flows Esseru's Blessing, a river which flows across the country to the Ionic Ocean, splitting into two major branches to the north and south at (20, 6). Esseru's Heart flows to the north, while Esseru's Feet flow to the south.
(23, 19) The Free City of Sarsur, edging on the marshlands (24, 19) to (30, 26) and extending beyond.
(6, 32) The Free City of Nahor, edging on Eye of Sephiroth, a desert depicted here from (1, 33) to (10, 38). The Eye of Sephiroth is 200 mile expanse which ends with the Stonesplitter Mountains, far to the southwest.
To the north (10,1) to (22,4) are the Windshadow Woods, home to a large Drow civilization.
To the south (13,24) to (30,38) are the Fingerfrost Woods, aside from isolated communities of wood-elves and forest gnomes, they are largely unexplored, but said to contain many ancient ruins.
Finally, the Four Satrapies:
Ilan Ketur (17, 9) which has claimed the (former) Satrapy of Emzah (13, 16) as its vassal.
Eylah (12, 7)
and the two coastal Satrapies of Liba Zaka (5,5) and Din Shalem (5, 15).
OOC:
Politics and some very rudimentary history to follow
