Nahor: City of Light
On the edge of a deadly desert, the Eye of Sephiroth, The Independent City of Nahor is a major trade hub. Anyone crossing the desert must first pass through Nahor for supplies and certainly anyone who survives the perilous journey looks to Nahor as a safe haven. Central to this city's continued existence is the large oasis on the northwest edge of town. Nahor is also home to the Academy of Alchemical Calculation, an order of wizards who seek to understand the natural world and how matter can be manipulated by arcane means. Rumor has it that long ago the wizards of the Academy used their arcane art to create the oasis from a pool of contaminated stagnant water. The city retains a fairly large military both for protection from the Satrapies and from desert monsters that wander too close to the city. The army is loyal to Queen Ynga, a high elf who has ruled over the city for hundreds of years. Sarsur: The Bastion Against Darkness
Sarsur is more of a military base than an actual city. Dead wastelands stretch for nearly a hundred miles past Sarsur to the east. The wasteland itself is home to nothing dangers, but past this large swampy soak are hordes of undead. While the Blackshield mountains to the north cut off the undead from reaching civilization, the marshlands do precious little in doing the same. Sarsur, sometimes called the 'Silver Shield', is home to military men and their families. Supplies are sent overland at great cost from the Satrapies and most of the Independent Cities to Sarsur to ensure that the scourge does not run free across the land. This threat has resulted in an agreement between all living in this area: Necromancy is unequivocally prohibited. The Brotherhood of the Silver Star also calls this city home; a league of wizards and eldritch knights that reinforce this garrison and also travel across the province putting down any unnatural threats. These individuals also serve as diplomatic envoys to the Satrapies, informing them of when more supplies are needed or if any unusually large threat approaches that requires military levies to reinforce the Silver Shield. Sarsur is lead by General Sargon, rumored to be 8 feet tall, strong as a bull, and clever as a crow.

This is primarily facilitated by two factors: 1. The great library located here, which contains all manner of arcane knowledge and 2. It is a nexus point between all manner of important alchemical ingredients found in the desert as well as in the wetlands to the west.
[ +- ] History
There is much debate among historians about whether there have been multiple Ynga's all posing as the same individual or if she really is a very long-lived high elf. Although high elves are known to live for centuries, tomes over a thousand years old speak of Queen Ynga.

It is said that Sargon maintains an elite force of madmen consecrated to Karduk as his elite force. They tirelessly throw themselves on wave after wave of undead fueled by the power of Karduk and the madness that runs in their veins.
