This thread is just hear to give background info on the planet that you are all on for your shore leave. If there are any questions or things that are unclear, you can use this thread to ask about it (or just use the discord). I'll update this with any locations of interest that come up during the game and with clarifications for questions.
Caspera-13 was one of the most ambitious terraforming projects in spacefleet history. The last planet of the Caspera system held many natural resources condusive to supporting life but it was far outside the habitable zone of its star. Over decades, the spacefleet terraforming division has managed to increase the mass and size of the star enormously, and they have managed to create a livable atmosphere on the planet.
Nowadays, Caspera-13 is the pride of the spacefleet terraforming and to show off their achievement, spacefleet has turned the planet into a designated shore leave location for its officers. The entire planet is covered in water, except for four small islands. One of them holds the Tallya Resort which is the actual shore leave destination. The other three islands hold terraforming devices and environmental control stations.
There is also a small space station, Caspera Control 1 (CC1), in locked orbit over Tallya Resort to oversee security and serve as a port for the island, transporting guests to and from there.

Tallya Resort is a large island, that has been designed for a high variety of climates. The southwest of the island is hot and tropical. There are a lot of beaches here as well as most of the buildings on the planet. Guests stay in a village of small cottages, each of which can house between one and five people at a time. There are restaurants, bars, casinos, theaters and other kinds of entertainment venues available here as well.
Most of the island is covered in forests which range everywhere from tropical rainforests in the south to frozen forests in the north. The center of the island is made up by large mountain ranges which are ideal for hiking. The northeast of the island is perpetually covered in snow and has ideal conditions for any kind of winter sports.

Strewn throughout the island, there are terraforming facilities that help maintain the huge climate differences within such a small area. Since most travel over the island takes place with small antigrav transports, rather than by foot, guests are unlikely to catch more than a glance of these places, which are placed strategically in areas of low interest for tourists so that their presence is unlikely to bother anyone.
