Town Council
Eda Oweland (Human Female): Eda was born and raised in Saltmarsh and has been elected to the council three times and is currently the senior member. She is a gruff, pragmatic woman whose graying hair is cut short and whose face bears the marks of a life lived outdoors. She seems to always have the best interests of Saltmarsh at heart.

Manistrad Copperlocks (Dwarf Female): Manistrad is the leader of the newly established mining operation in Saltmarsh. She operates from an office near the edge of town and is also a member of the council. She was not elected to it, but was put in place the king of Keoland.

Anders Solmor (Human Male): Young Anders recently inherited his family’s fleet of fishing boats after the untimely death of his mother, Petra. He is the youngest to ever serve on the council and is somewhat of a local hero for his outspoken hatred of pirates and his unending energy and ambition to make Saltmarsh a better place.

Notable People
Gellan Primewater (Human Male): Gellan is a well-spoken, dapper older gentleman with a neatly trimmed beard and a fancy wardrobe. He is a successful merchant who deals with textiles and lumber and is the wealthiest man in Saltmarsh.

Eliander Fireborn (Human Male): Eliander fought in the royal army of Keoland, where he earned a name driving the wild things of the Dreadwood away from the settled lands. Eliander suffered a tremendous injury to his leg in a battle against an owlbear and now walks upon a finely carved wooden peg. He is well-known for speaking a large number of languages and is sometimes called upon as a translator. He now serves as captain of the town guard.

Skerrin Wavechaser (Human Male): Skerrin is the butler for Ander Solmor and is fiercely protective. Tall, lean, tan, with short silver hair, he speaks in precise, measured statements of a man who has a keen eye for detail.
