Introduce yourself here. The only 'required' information is whether you are familiar with Knights of the Old Republic as a setting, what your general character concepts are and how much help you need with the Feng Shui system. Remember, each player should have both a Padawan -and- a knight/master and you cannot be your own pairing. That would be dumb.

So, because I'm going to be a player too, I will start and introduce my characters.
Knight Nathan Kaine is a giant of a man. He is a human who is 1.98 meters tall (about 6'6). Despite this, he is known to be calm and kind, very rarely showing even irritation. He is, however, a man of uncompromising standards and discipline.
Padawan Ian Maxwell is a contradiction. A reckless troublemaker and prankster he nonetheless shows great focus and self discipline. While not having much of a temper he is almost completely hardwired to disobey, as if by compulsion. Whoever ends up his master will actually be his third, the previous two having given up on him.

Jaeden is a floppy, goofy, and inherently greedy child. Her redeeming quality is that for some reason, she has force sensitivity in a universe full of far more pious individuals deserving of responsibility and a sense of connection.
Jo'anna is a kind knight with only a secret adoration of pranks and mischief. Whomever she ends up mentoring will be her first and she already has drawers upon drawers worth of files stored in her data pad on self help manuals on how to lead and inspire. Is it eagerness to start padawans on the right path? Is it because she senses she will need all the references she can get? It's up in the air.

Bikbik'da'nuba is one of few Jawa jedi who has accomplished Mastery of the Jedi Arts. His adept pantomimes and telepathy make up for his inability to speak intelligibly, and his satisfaction and frustration are easily communicated to his padawans. He is a disciplined and able teacher despite challenges regarding both his size and ability to communicate.
Ikikie (i-kee-kee-ay) is one of few force sensitive wookiees, and the only female in history. She is shy and quiet, with a very even temper, but can be volatile when she witnesses bullying.
I have played Knights of the Old Republic, but don't necessarily remember, and will need all the help with the Feng Shui system.

Tomo is a Zabrak that has always been a gifted lightsaber user. With a stern yet fair gaze, he is a go-to instructor in the more combat oriented skills.
Kalmos Leamerc is a human child with a inquisitive nature that's got him into his fair share of trouble. Mix that with being a force sensitive and he's developed a need for exploring every inch of the academy.

Andan Dromo is a Mirialan Jedi Knight known for both his skill at negotiation and capability as a warrior. He has already trained two padawan, and the geometric tattoos covering the light green skin of his chest, arms and face tell of his prowess in battle as well as his successful non-violent adjudication of countless conflicts. Although he has a reputation for being stoic and stone-faced, he has a subtle sense of humor that many miss due misunderstanding him and his deadpan delivery.
Dela Minn is a nimble Twi'lek padawan who seems to excel at getting into trouble. If there is a question, she must have the answer, even if that answer lies in the private chambers of a Senator, a misadventure with political ramifications that nearly had her cast out of the Jedi Order. Her inability to refuse a dare led to her last master abandoning her training and leaving her at the temple to find a new master.
I played the original KotOR waaaaay back when, but I've never played Feng Shui, and will probably require help with the system.

Master Skava Bron is a Pau'an with a coldly logical approach to life. She is seeks to find balance in both the letter and spirit of the law and live in that gap. She does however have an extreme fondness for non-sentient animal life and can often be found communing with them in natural settings.
Padawan Canis is a Shistavanen orphan. Her parents were merchants and some of the few Shistavanen willing to deal with off-world species. Their ship crashed on a (near)human planet and she was the only survivor. It took six months for the humans to find any relatives, but when they tried to contact them, they rejected Canis as tainted by the humans. She was tested soon after for force sensitivity and was adopted by the Jedi officially. Canis is still young and struggles to control her predator tendencies still.

I apologize for not putting this in my earlier posts. I'm familiar with the setting, I played both KOTOR games..waay to many times. I am however a new player to the Feng Shui setting.

Oh right....me too.
I have not played Feng Shui...but listened to some actual play podcasts that used it.
As for the KOTOR Lore...I'd say I have a noob's level of knowledge. I won't be winning any trivia contests but I can say I'm comfortable with my level of knowledge.

Hi, I'm pretty much identical to everyone else. Never played Feng Shui, played KOTOR 1 and 2. I read through the rules and they seem really simple once you get out of chargen.
Anyways, I'd like to play Veria Kaapel as my knight character. I would like Veria to be an overachiever who passed the trials for Knighthood by virtue of being a giant nerd and studying all the time. She is poor at combat but is good at Farseeing, though her main focus is archeology and studying ancient force user traditions and relics. Oh, and human.
For a Padawan, I am going to make Zelgrave Guray. A young man that appears near-human but his skin is hard and possibly disfigured. He is going to be angry, easily frustrated and seem to have an axe to grind. Whoever ends up his master will get to know more of his backstory.

Hi, I have played Feng Shui before but have never played KOTOR, however I have absorbed a lot of Star Wars lore via friend-osmosis lol.
I'm going to play Dynnyana Catalia as my knight character. If it's ok, I would like her to have been a Wild Force User, marauding around as basically a bounty-hunter or a mercenary, until she was found at the age of maybe 19-23? Convinced to give the Jedi a chance, she found the life a happier one and continued her training until she became a knight at 29. (if it's not ok, I have other ideas I could use for a knight)
My padawan character will be Alyx Shale, a zabrak girl of 15-17 who was abandoned about ten years ago to the Jedi. She has a very solid disposition, with a sense of humor but a very long fuse. However, once her fury has been awoke, she is hard to restrain.

Imma just ask. How we deciding pairing? Random dice roll or do we gotta, egads, actually pick each other out. Because I volunteer Jaeden to be last pick if that's the case. She's funner to play as the jilted last pick. 😂
May 27, 2019 7:11 pm
We can probably start figuring that out now. I say people should have a say in it. When Anakin got Ahsoka dumped on him without warning it was a joke. Like an actual joke, not a metaphorical one. So let's start having that conversation.
May 27, 2019 7:22 pm
Like, I'm not too concerned with whom either of my characters get tied up with. One just wants to be paired with the most attractive person in the room. The other considers herself everyone's momma hen and she gotta help everyone + extra babysitting her own.
I'd say if people have a strong attraction to one individual they can but for those of us who want a lotto, we can just give each available pada and mast a number. and then whomever the winning number is, they're the prize. Then we renumber and go!

That is a lot of faith in me but I'll do my best, lol. Alright, well it would help if I knew how all the Padawans were shitty at being Jedi and what all the Masters are best at handling.

BikBik is near everyone's last choice as a Jedi Master. He does not demonstrably excel at any one thing, is not famous, and rarely displays his prowess, but all of his padawans, even the most unlikely, seem to become powerful Jedi Knights. He seems to have nothing going for him, except that he does not give up on his Padawans, and often is innovative when teaching them. He was the Underdog once, and his Master did not give up on him, and he's paying it forward. (He's the special-ed Jedi master!)
Ikikie has trouble relying on the force, her physical strength hinders her acceptance to turning to the force as a solution.

Dela Minn, twi’lek padawan, lacks patience and the ability to let things be. She is impulsive, brash, and headstrong, and her go to resolution for avoiding conflict is to user her speed and agility.
Jedi Knight Andan Dromo is patient and precise, buts come across as severe due to his heavy reliance on combat drills and meditative practice. Any padawan who needs to take time out to focus on form and breathing over excessive action would benefit from his mentorship.

Hi! I’m a huge star wars fan, but I’ve never played feng shui before, having only played SWFFG. I’m thinking for my master, he’ll be kind of a warrior monk kind of build, while my padawan will be a lightsaber user.

Tosh-Tosh is a younger padawan at 14 years old. He is sick and tired of people not taking him seriously just because he is a Gungan. He is as graceful as a butterfly fish, patient as a water snake, and as studious as, a very studious padawan. His imagination does have its limits. He is very careful about following the rules and has a hard time when his friends want to go off into some mischief. He often lets himself get dragged along, partially to see if he can mitigate the damage, but also because he's secretly just happy to be included.
Jedi Master Ziel has been all over the galaxy. You've probably heard of him. No? Well, he has completed countless missions for the Jedi order, many of which have involved investigating mysterious, force-related, phenomena on far-off planets. He might not be the best mentor out there (he can be a little self-centered and insensitive), but certainly always enjoys meeting a fan. He hopes this padawan thing works out though and he hopes he or she likes exploring and adventuring.

Just to check, will our masters coach our own padawans? Or will we do it for others?

No one will be paired up with their own characters, that would be lonely to rp, I think. But if everyone could message me where their characters fall on the light/dark scale then I can start pairing people up.

Great! If you have any questions let me know. I figure when half of us are ready we can start RPing and the others can catch up. I put a intro up to summarize the game and I'll be adding some more backstory stuff as well.

Greetings to everyone! :D
I'm not familiar with both the system and the setting - in fact, I'm very much not familiar with the Star Wars franchise in general, but I heard many good things about it, and I'd love to give exploring this universe a shot! I'll do my best with learning how it all works. :D I'll ask if I'll need any help, but I'll read on Feng Shui, and hopefully it will give enough knowledge to get me started. ^...^
And now for the characters! I hope these two will be fitting? :D I'm going to write more about them on character sheets separately later.
Padawan Lark, a young 14 year old human orphan, eager to learn and become a great Jedi hero - all the while not exactly understanding the actual role of The Jedi Order. He is very energetic, boisterous and loud, and loves learning about fighting and engineering, but cannot sit still long enough for anything else. He lacks patience and interest for more scholary disciplines, and would much rather try to run away on a passing starship to explore the galaxy than sit in the library researching the Force. He's not a troublemaker by intent, in fact he is friendly and truly wants to earn approval of his teachers, but his boundless energy often causes a stir. His talents lie in engineering and swordfighting skills, and he is good at telekinesis, but he is not great at calling to the powers of Force otherwise - especially where it concerns mental influence, - and avoids learning about it as often as he can.
Charlie "Shark" West is a Jedi Weapon Master who primarily earned his rank through legendary feats of combat performed with his trusty axe. It is a bit questionable that he became a Master, since many would argue that understanding of the balance is not one of his virtues, and he would probably be happier being a Knight instead, as he always doubted that he actually deserved his rank - but he is a Master, and that is how it is right now. Charlie is a strongly built individual, a tall and muscular 34 year old human, brave and experienced in combat and physical powers of Force, good at tactics and a great commander. He used to be a rebellious spirit in his younger days, and he is still sometimes willing to go against rules if he deems the reason to do it worthy, but he is calmer these days than he ever used to be. He also doubts that he is a good teacher, but vows to himself to do his best to not be a bad influence and do his best to pass the knowledge to his protege.
*I'm not sure if I can have him use the axe, since Star Wars wiki didn't list axes as valid weapons for Weapon Masters, but I can switch it to a flail or a whip if you say to do so! :D

Those are great places to start and it's more than okay you don't know much about Star Wars or the theme. In fact, the only thing that really might need to be addressed is that the traditional Jedi weapon is a lightsaber. They have the same level of importance, culturally and symbolically, as a katana for the samurai of Japan. So your master character would probably have to switch to that. Other than that I think these are good building blocks to work off. I'm sure as you learn more about the game universe you'll want to make changes. Please don't hesitate to ask for advice.
May 30, 2019 8:34 pm
I know about lightsabers, but in my research I discovered the Weapon Masters who use non-traditional weapons, apparently, and wanted to use that knowledge. :D These ones! I can just go with a usual Master as well, but I thought it'd be interesting to have someone with a thematically clashing weapon and of a specific Jedi branch of sorts. XD
And I'm glad that you think these are okay! ^...^ I'll add up more to both to them eventually, it's just getting late for me, so it's gonna wait.
PS: actually, maybe he can have both and switch between them depending on the situation? :D

Okay, as long as you're aware of the implications that he'll probably be aware that he's the only Jedi who had that weapon and that he'll stand out as a singular individual. I just wanted to make sure you understood. It will be ironic that there will be some overlap between your Padawan character and mine but I'm sure they'll distinguish themselves from each other quickly.

I hate to do this as I'm excited to try this new system and have a serious jones for some Star Wars, but I have to drop out of this game. I got in over my head with too many games at once between 3 different sites.
Have fun! Sorry to bail. :(

Sorry to see you go, Tao! But I feel that too, rofl!
So... for matching consideration...
Jo'anna: I think if Jo'anna had seen prequels that she would say that Anakin was the result of his own individuality and headstrong persona, rather than the result of the flawed education and hierarchy system that the jedi have. She'd think Qi Gong is to be blamed, because he'd gone against all counsel to bring Anakin in the first place. She'd decide this because her idyllic views on Jedi and their role in the galaxy have more weight for her than niggling doubts. She trusts the system. She drank the koolaid. Etc.
The padawan that would fit her personal preference best is one that is similar to her. One that is excited for the responsibility that being a force user entails. Someone who is eager to bring goodness and wholesomeness to a universe that can, at times, feel void and hostile. Someone who gets as excited about training, practice, and morality lectures.
The padawan that would be best for narrative, and overall conflict-driven development, is the padawan who forces her to experience anger and frustration. Someone who makes her question her own ability, and someone that she might ultimately need to reshape her own opinions and views to be able to get through to them. Someone that helps her piece together the flaws of the system, and thereby, compels her to reevaluate her own relationship with organized Jedi systems.
Jaeden: She's an inherently selfish child. She has abysmal self-esteem and over compensates by convincing herself that she's pretty rad. She's content when other people believe that, in the same way a TVangelist is content to have people believe in their piety. However, the people that catch her attention are the ones who see her, nakedly, for the despicable creature that she is rather than the facade, or the potential. Those are the type of people prompt change in her, one way or another, because seeing herself through their eyes is unbearable, and she will do everything to avoid that... even if it means becoming a half-way decent person, or padawan!
So basically, someone who can utilize her own ego and desire to be seen against her by not seeing her, and swatting her ego down a peg or two.

That's a fun idea, good job Sadrielle.
Nathan: Nathan has a checkered history with the Jedi. He was a raised by them, left as a Padawan, disappeared for many years and then returned. He is marked as different from most because instead of attacking the system and any flaws he sees, he is known for supporting the Jedi philosophy that universal compassion requires an ability to be dispassionate. As such his mental focus are as important to him as his Lightsaber skills which are plentiful. He will intentionally have sought out a Padawan who he feels can match that level of commitment.
Nathan is an uncompromising sort, valuing individuals and groups of people and politics not at all. He speaks his mind with a calm, sharp wit and cultured Coruscanti accent (British).
Ian's is longer because I wanted to prepare anyone that might be his teacher to what sort of horror awaits them.
Ian: Ian would be best described as a living nightmare for any teacher. Literally questioning everything in a sharp and pointed manner. When given something to do that is useful, such as training or studying he tends to attack these subjects with a single minded ferocity, unfortunately leaving him with nothing to do when he is finished. Ian's abilities in the Force match his personality, strong and direct, with a emphasis for telekinesis which he uses for even mundane tasks, like cooking and cleaning.
He has seventeen black marks on his record for various acts of rebellion. Notable standouts of these include replacing a Cathar Knight's shampoo with a hair remover after that Knight had tried to force him to wear a more traditional Padawan hairstyle. Also stacking over a dozen hovercars into a 'house of cards' formation using his own telekinesis and several droids he had reprogrammed to help lift and weld them together. And stealing another Padawan's door. To their room. Like, the whole door.
Among the Padawans he has a mixed reputation, some thinking he's a menace others regard him as a personal catharsis for rebellion. He -should- be ready to cross the threshold into Knighthood but he has caused two Knights and a Master to have given up on training him. On the one hand, he is brash, loud and argumentative but on the other hand he has been known to be sweet and kind. And on the other, other hand he supposedly set up a smuggling ring inside the Jedi Order that trades non-essentials like robes and boots for collectors to have 'authentic Jedi wear' in exchange for goods not normally available inside the Jedi Order: candy, holos, games that he shares with the other students. It is currently unknown how he does this but the Council believes that shipping him off Coruscant will end it.
Why does the Council keep him around? Unlike most Padawans, Ian has seen real combat against dark Jedi in the previous war. It is even rumored that's where the red crystal in his Lightsaber comes from. Despite his problems, Ian is a vocal and eloquent supporter of the -point- of the Jedi, even if he argues the details and methods he is a strong supporter of the idea of the Jedi and is committed to working within the system, rather than without.

Well, I'm more than willing to play matchmaker but I like giving a more full description of the characters and having people choose amongst themselves. I wanted to wait until at least half of us had completed chargen to start doing that so hopefully that will happen soon.

Hmm, Alyx Shale is sometimes seen as boring. She's very calm but has a sense of humor. She can get anxiety, though, and often times feels she has to be the most grown-up person around. Some might say she takes being a Jedi TOO seriously, if that's possible. She really wants someone who she can trust and feel safe around, not that she has to take charge from a wandering mind.
Dynnyana Catalia is very laid back. She doesn't really believe that Jedi are better off without relationships. She used to be very sexually liberated and free, and has no shame in admitting to that; although as a Jedi she has promised to be celibate. Some might suspect that she isn't really as celibate as she claims, but unless she is going elsewhere or she is tempting the other Jedi, who would she be with besides herself? Sexual freedom is very important to her, so she might be suspected if some of the lady Jedi suddenly have suspicious devices that look like but aren't lightsabers. ;-)

Firstly thank you Cep100 for letting me join my first game on the site.
Zatee Ros is most known for his skill at settling arguments. Whenever there is a major dispute between the locals, other masters or between the younglings, he is the one they call upon. He always tries to achieve the most peaceful result but sometimes the other party underestimates the old Togrutan forcing him to "settle the argument" in a more physical way. Most people who don't get on his bad side find him to be a jolly old prankster of a man. (His favorite joke is using telekinesis to put all the furniture on the ceiling.) He is known for taking unusual padawans. Especially ones with some temperamental quirks, but they have all seemed to become great knights in the future.
Lillian Heeks is a shy quiet student. Though she has excelled at her ability to attune her body to the force she is lacking in the discipline of lightsaber combat. She really couldn't stand some of the other students who would use her to make themselves look good at combat, so she learned to use the force to increase her agility and help her blend into the surroundings. Honestly, she was really hoping to be overlooked by the masters and just become an apprentice at the library. Now that she has been chosen she will at least try to do what her master teaches but she probably is just going to fail.
I do have access to the core book so I think I understand how the system functions, but I think I will still need help to create the characters and fit them into an archetype.

Veria Kaapel is a human aged 19 with long, blonde hair, bright blue eyes and the most innocent and sweetest expression on her face. Everything about her seems to deny the rank and title of Jedi Knight, not the least of which is that she's only 19. What brave and ferocious feat did she perform? She worked in the library. At least that's what her detractors say. Knight Kaapel, despite her young age is one of the few Jedi allowed and able to study and understand the ancient Sith language. Not only is she able to read it but speak it as well. This makes her instrumental in the categorization and containment of dangerous artifacts.
She would do best with a Padawan who shares her love of history and archeology. She is generally a gentle soul, more concerned with being a proper Jedi and pouring a good cup of tea. She does, however, have a temper and any who awaken it will find themselves on the end of a tirade of guilt-tripping and passive aggressive comments.
Zelgrave Guray is an enigma wrapped in an angry question. He speaks very little to others, looks constantly irritable and annoyed and generally tends to ignore other people except to make sarcastic and nihilistic comments. While very bright and studious he mostly ignores teachers, especially if they are covering more basic lessons. Despite being older than most Padawans, in his late teens, he does not yet have a Lightsaber. This might seem to be a disadvantage but Zelgrave happens to be -very- strong for his size.
He would do best with a teacher that can manage to tell him what to do. He won't respond to physical prowess so an instructor that can overwhelm him verbally would be best.

Alright, everybody, I wanted everyone to have a chance to post as both a Jedi Knight/Master and as their Padawan but I want a roll call of those who are still interested. I've held off as long as I think I can so if you're still in, let me know and we'll push forward and pick up new players to fill in the gaps.
Jun 22, 2019 7:18 am
I'm still here! :D
I just have nothing to post as a Padawan, and Charlie is just watching other Masters/Knights for now. XD

Okay, I've spoken with a few other players and they're still in. I'll give the ones who haven't responded here or messaged me another week but I'm impatient and I'm just going to move forward.

That's all optional, none of it was required. You can just jump in when you're ready.

Hi All. I'm Ben and I have just been recruited. I have never played Feng Shui, but I am intimately familiar with the KOTOR setting.
My Master character is Merrick Durn. A 40 year old human Jedi Sentinel until recently assigned to Hutt Space in a deep cover assignment that lasted many years. He has recently been recalled to Coruscant and raised to the rank of Jedi Master. Merrick assumed he would be assigned as a Sector Watchman, but instead he was assigned to the efforts of planting a new Jedi Temple. In addition, he was told to take on a padawan learner.
Merrick was not pleased at the mandates given to him. He had always worked alone and preferred it that way. His own master, the wee'quay Sahren Fel, used silence and solitude to cool Merrick's temper in his youth and focus it in harmony with the Force. Merrick does not feel he is up to the task of teaching a student, much less helping to found a new Temple.
My Padawan character is Errad Onan. Errad is 16 and also human. He was raised from infancy by the Jedi Order. Errad excelled in every discipline presented to him during his time as a youngling. He prefers intellectual and mystical pursuits to fighting, by he is no slouch with the lightsaber.
His excellence has made him arrogant. Many knights and masters sought to take Errad on as their padawan, but the Jedi Council sought the Will of the Force and decided a different path for Errad. He would be assigned to the group founding a new Jedi Temple. There, according to the Masters' visions, Errad would find the Master who could bring out the best in him.
That is what I have. Once I figure it out, I will have sheets for both posted. I am looking forward to joining the story. :)

Okay, so Steef/Zambar and Merrick/Errad, you both currently don't have another player assigned for your character's master/student pairing. If you want to pair up your student/teacher with each other, that's fine, or you can play your own opposites if we want to keep things simple. I'm fine with either choice.
Jul 8, 2019 11:12 am
Okay, so good news, we got another player. Welcome Vorn! But I do want another check-in to see if we have a pairing available or if Vorn will just have Seijin and Eliza paired up as teacher/student. Who isn't paired current with a teacher or a student?
Jul 8, 2019 4:23 pm
My partners still haven't showed up, neither of them. Just saying. XD
Also, hi Vorn! :D Familiar face!

Okay, that might work out. Vorn, how do you feel about having your characters matched up with FS's?
Jul 16, 2019 1:36 pm
Hey all, just recieved an invite, thank you Cep! Glad to be here - I've got some reading to do here on this forum, and I'll be rolling up 2 characters tomorrow on my day off. I already have a model for master and student, but I'd like to get an idea of what might be needed for this group comp.
I'm brand new to the FS system but I'm a quick study. I'm familiar with kotor IP through the video games related to the era. Looking forward to Jedi Academy!
Edit: I'm open to have my toons paired up with other players, or I can rp both, either way.

You don't have to worry so much about 'filling a gap'. Since all the characters are Jedi there is going to be some overlap to be expected. And as emergencies happen and missions are given by the Order different characters will be assigned different places. While there is a certain truth that a healer character will be better at dealing with some kind of accident that has injured or a tech character would have an easier time repairing something most characters in Feng Shui have at least a passing familiarity with one or more fields. 'Just warriors' and 'just healers' and 'just diplomacy/persuasion' characters don't really exist unless you specifically try to make one.
In short, just play your concept and focus on creating a character you enjoy.

Hello. Glad to be here. I'm still catching up on the forums. With so many people making two characters each, it's a lot to keep track of. I've played KOTOR 1, 2, that weird mmorpg game, and for extra special bonus points, I read the knights of the old republic comic that those games are all based on. It's on my shelf right now. Here are my character concepts.
Jedi knight Tavo Drenko-Miralukan jedi who fought in the sith war against Exar Kun. She got her arm chopped off and now wanders across the galaxy looking for peaceful solutions to violent problems.
Jedi Padawan Mrlaxthar-Cathar war orphan. He doesn't remember his parents, but he still has nightmares/force visions about them and the events surrounding their death. Sometimes visions of the future are mixed into his dreams.

Okay. I haven't made my character yet, and part of the reason for that is that I've been trying to figure out who is who. To that end, I've made this spreadsheet. Let me know if everyone can see it/edit it. It's a list of people who have joined and what characters they made. It is editable by anyone who wants to update it. I made a column for master and padawan description. If people could fill those two columns out with a couple of words (please don't write a paragraph in the spreadsheet) describing their characters that would be good. Is this something we will use? If so is their other information we should add?
@flyingsucculent- I'll pair up with you.

@optimumsquare, this sheet seems like it will be handy, great idea! :D
And I'm all up for pairing with you, for either Padawan, Master or both. ^...^ I guess it might be more interesting if we don't pair up for both, but it's up to you! And Cep, probably. XD

Update to character concept; My master will still be one armed, but after looking at the options in Dragons Heir, I think she will be the two fisted archaeologist. After losing her arm in the war with Exar Kun, she pledged herself to seek out all sith influences in the galaxy. And destroy them. There's some potential for dark side corruption. Padawan is the same

Hey, maybe we can pair up Charlie, my Master, and Mrlaxthar-Cathar, your Padawan? :D ...I don't think my Padawan and your Master will mix well - although he might try to make her a mechanical arm, so that is a possible plotline.

While this is much earlier in Star Wars than the movies the ability to replace limbs by cybernetics and/or cloning does exist. It might have to come down to a personal choice for your master to not have gotten her limb replaced. Either as a philosophical choice, stubbornness or wanting a reminder of what the Sith do when allowed to run free.

Updated optimumsquare's handy sheet - but we can't view each other's charsheet because of the custom sheet template, right? Or have I missed something?

I think it's that they are default set to private. I won't force anyone to change their's but I'll double check and make sure mine are set public.

So, I'm still not able to view any other character sheets, just FYI. Not the end of the world.
I did make sure to update my Jedi Dossier though, especially in light of the above.
Master Ramphere Onmp
Padawan Bevik Malviis

~Concepts~
Katerina Esterla: Master. Coruscanti (? From Coruscant). Calm and witty. As close to a scientist as Jedi have. Focuses more on academia and theory. She isn't focused on combat but her skills are enough to defend herself and label herself as a master with no doubt. She is a relatively new master but is determined to prove it was not a mistake.
Alicione 'Alice' Alphinaud: Padawan. Nabbooan (? From Naboo). Socially anxious, easily flustered and easily surprised. She hasn't really made progress on letting go of or controlling her emotions due to her anxiety, but this anxiety has also led to her studying and training in most of her free time so is much more learned than the average of her peers, though was barely allowed to be a padawan due to her emotional problems.
~Help needed~
All of it? I'm vaguely familiar with the KOTOR era though not too much and I don't know anything about the Feng Shui system

Great to have you aboard! Check out the forums on character generation. A pdf of Heirs of the Dragon is available for free online and that has a list of all the archetypes available.
Magic Cop might be best for your Master, Info skills can be swapped to whatever works in your head. Shaolin Master might also work. As far as your student goes, it's a little hard without knowing her age. Scrappy Kid might work if she's really young but you might want a different archetype if she's older. Which could fit as a reason why she's so anxious. There is a wide range of ages for Padawans here. Some as young as 14 one as old as 19.

Welcome, Melancholia! We're happy you joined us.
I had never even heard of Feng Shui before joining this here game - you'll find its very easy to learn, and you get to play the character that you envision playing without having to worry about "team synergy" in particular. "Feng Shui = The Rule of Cool".
If I may, Cep; our generous and thoughtful game master has presented a "structured sandbox" event for us to play in. There's lots of room to create and express yourself, but the lore isn't so tight that you have to be "in the know". We really get to focus on developing our characters, and within the Feng Shui system, we get to make them really cool too. (The cast is so interesting and unique already, and we're just getting started.) The cinematic landscape is wide open and fun.
