The Dead Girl:
-The electronic version of the Police report is unfinished
-Victim is Betty Rice, age 19.
-Her body was found on July 6th
-She was reported missing on July 4th, but had not been heard from since June 30th.
-She was found in a swamp six miles from Highway 19. "Near the 7th trap."
-Her body was sent to the medical examiner in Florence on July 8th.
-Her body was found by hunters: Johnny Denton and his cousin Bill Warner.
-Bill Warner was so scared when approached that he was ready to shoot first (putting holes in his own house), see who he is shooting at second. He also kept looking around like he was expecting danger. It wasn't us he was afraid of.
-Warner confirmed everything in the police report (except the night hunting).
-Warner added "near the seventh trap" to what we know of the the location of the body.
-She looked like she'd been eaten by gators. She was in pieces (body and a leg).
-The only way out to the location where her body was found is by boat.
-Warner clearly thinks her body was dumped there by someone, and that someone is probably who he is so afraid of.
The Kids:
-Ash, Mark, Jake, and Sean. Sean is a local drug dealer.
-He has a hideout in the woods near the library, before you get to the river.
-He sells weed laced with some sort of drug. They call it "swamp weed." Ash had heard of it but was surprised to have it.
-Sean knows the three men who ran us off and kept Ash behind.
The Three Men:
-Sean knows them (they are his supplier perhaps).
-The old man is in charge.
-One of them was named Bill, perhaps Bill Warner (hunter who found the body).
-They kept Ash behind to who knows what fate.
The Virgins:
-Betty, Sarah Grace, and Molly where the three that were named.
-A group of strange girls, mostly out of high school.
-They don't drink, smoke, or have sex like the other kids.
-Betty was the "Queen Virgin."
