Character Creation

So as you know this is a Pokemon based 5e game, I would like it if you could make a level 10 character using the PHB and select 3 Pokemon as your team.
The rules for Stats is standard array, 15,14,13,12,10,8 though as a human you get a +1 to all of those (so I guess it should just be 16,15,14,13,11,9). Choose any background from the normal 5e handbook.

There is also an app on the google play store and apple store called Pokedex5E that helps keep track of leveling most Pokemon fairly easily.

Hi hi! Couple quick questions for you:
1. What level do we put our pokemon at? Level 1?

2. Do we get to pick the Nature's of our 2nd and 3rd pokemon, or just our Starter? (I assume if we don't, you'd assign natures to them for us or have us roll something?)

3. Are you also going to roll for the Ability our pokemon starts with, or can we select our Starter's ability (or all three?).

okay all good questions, you can go ahead and level your Pokemon up to level 10 each. I would prefer it if you roll a D20 for your second and 3rd Pokemon like in the book, but it is honor system so if you didn't really little that I can do. You can select your Pokemon's abilities.

yes, if they would evolve go ahead and evolve them, all 3 Pokemon should be level 10. Admittedly a lot of this story is to test mechanics, and challenge ratings, but I do hope to explore a bit of a story here.

BTW, my character's backstory is that his parents died in a house fire when he is young. He grows up being close to pokemons than other people. He dreams of being a gym leader/is a gym leader.

Doing HP (and starting cash) rolls for my character/mons!

And with that I believe I am now 100% prepared!

Is it OK if I use the given hp for the Pokemon in the app? Also, is it allowed if I am a relatively weak gym leader in the region?

I will allow for the app, but you need to tell me what it is, or put it in a custom character sheet. For the gym leader, most gym leaders are already planned, as this is a pre determined setting that I am testing things for, but I would allow for say you're an apprentice gym leader meant to take over a gym later if that's ok with you? It would also explain why you're on the road.
