Is this about the drugs? How did they know? This can't get WORSE!!!! he thought to himself as his actions went on auto pilot as they were escorted from ship to the temple and into the chambers within.
The patient was taken to be looked after for now and soon the crew plus a few others were being talked to about why they had been escorted into the Jedi Temple.
Blinking several times the doctor took into account what was just said. All he could muster was a quiet 'O' verbally.
I was wrong... THIS is DEFINITELY WORSE!!! Orninoh started thinking. He was a doctor, although he did agree the loss of life was bad... he really didn't think of himself as someone to be picked to go up against a General of an Army and win...
Wondering the particulars of what was said and what it actually meant. Orninoh wondered if he was started to sweat... it felt a little hot in here he thought eyeing the cooling unit... maybe it was the sudden anxiety and pressure... maybe a bit of both.
Trying to compose himself Orninoh coughed out his question, *cough cough* Just like *cough* that? *cough* A Million *cough* each?" he managed clearing his throat finally... maybe this was an incredibly bad welcoming joke...
"This One will except the Fleshy Masters Mission."
"Steve" then climbs on the chair the Jedi is sitting on and pats the Jedi on the head, and whispers to the Jedi, "SSSSHHHHH now, Fleshy Master, This One will make sure the False Fleshy Master does not bring harm to you. No need to be scared. Activating Comfort Mode". After and awkward moment where "Steve" gently strokes the back of the Jedi's head in what "Steve" would assume as a comforting gesture, climbs doen and makes way back to the ship, and picks up the disassembled Mouse Droid as he goes.
"This One will return the Droid once diagnostics and repairs have been completed, and False Fleshy Master has been disintegrated." "Steve" then proceeds to book it back to the ship.
It's times like this I wish I drank... he lamented to himself.
Then he saw the odd scene of Steve 'petting' and soothing their new possible employer.
Or maybe something like that... he thought his cheeks getting a bit flushed watching the small robot whiz out the room.
"Sir if you'd get the specifics I'll look into getting our "still sleeping passenger" to a medical facility... we can't be dragging him around the galaxy in his current state along with other matters." he mentioned to Vashee finally standing.
No one was asking him personally to take out or assassinate a general, he'd just have to focus on the smaller things he could do. If Vashee gave him the go ahead he'd nod to this Jedi Ramos and nod towards the door to the other crew member after scratching the side of his face with an index finger and head out.
(OoC: Going to find out where to take Owen to get him conscious and letting the rest of the crew know about the package being something we should deal with as well before we leave planet)
"Well now," Ban's voice is much too loud for the quiet of a Jedi temple, "That sounds like a fair shake to me. However, we may need a bit up front. You know, for 'operational expenses'." He flashes a wide grin.

I can see why the offering of an absorbent amount you probably don't expect all of us to make it back. Some of the money in advance would help getting closer to him most likely in the form of needed equipment and bribes or at least numb our mind to this idea if we're going to go through with it. All quiet like since it's someone that people might know was from this temple or order..." Orninoh muttered loudly before realizing he just said what he was thinking out loud and quiet loud. Oh this flask was the Devil...
Well that was quite rude of me... Gaaah why do I have to sound like the doom and gloom of the group... oh right we're traipsing off to our possible death. he thought to himself.
He'd wait to see if he had offended the Jedi first and apologize if need be before going to check on the Owen fellow.

"Well as stated I really should check on that patient, he's not going to get out of that coma by himself laying about..." he explained before exiting.
(OoC: Don't know if I can get him conscious and talking but I'd like to get him to a medical facility and try, this seems like a good time.)
Orninoh, after talking to some of the jedi here, you are able to get Owen transfered to the medical facilities in this temple.
Steve, you are able to fix it up, and you are able to access it's basic functions to it will follow you when able, but you were not able to make it sentient. That'll be a much more involved task So whenever you get chances to work on it, roll with 3 purples and we'll keep track of the successes. Once you've managed to get 10 total successes it'll be sentient.
Unless anyone has anything more they want to do here we can go the the given coordinates for the padawan assuming that's how you guys want to figure out where the general is.
Once Orninoh knew the diagnosis of the patient Owen if he'd be out for sometime past a day to several years or if he was up and could talk he'd report back on what he found out to the crew, he'd talk to the Quartermaster about getting a three point harness and some extra loadouts for his longarm. Considering he had a backpack with medical supplies to carry it would be helpful when running towards or away from things to not constantly be wondering if he'd stumble and knock himself out with his weapon... If the word hadn't spread of his rudeness earlier he'd ask if getting some better armor was doable than padded armor. If not he'd be thankful for what he got.
(OoC: I didn't see some along the lines available actually but would I need anti venom or strains of venom to produce cures? I don't think there's venom from what I read but it's possible I guess. Or am I overthinking this and it's a Medical Roll? Mostly looking for a Three Point Harness, some loadouts if possible and any medical supplies they'd like to give me. Mostly cheap stuff. Maybe better armor but it's not a major concern... we're all doomed. XD)
OOC: Would you like a Streetwise or Knowledge: Underworld check? Also, it would be important to know if this contact knows Vakim as Vakim or the Ban Sarn identity. Or is that just not happening right now. I don't need to push us into a side quest if it'll derail the game, but Vakim would consider it a bad idea to travel around on some mission with a cargo hold full of very valuable but very illegal stuff. He's trying to keep a low profile after all.
OOC: Can I get the parts necessary to add the 'reduce critical rating' mod? I think it'd reduce it to 1, meaning I'd require 1 advantage to invoke a critical?
Friar, make a 2 purple Streetwise to see what contacts are available. Threat from the check will have them know you as Vakim, otherwise it's your choice.
Falryx, the Quartermaster will give you the equipment needed to mod your crystal. You'll need to make a 1 purple Mechanics but you can add your force die to it using the white pips as successes.

Friar: Your contact picks up the comm call, "Hey bud, didn't expect to be hearing from you anytime soon. What can I do for yah?"
"I guess we could have... it would have been easier." Orninoh admitted, "Guess you're stuck with being alive for now." Orninoh stated before pulling his commlink.
"Steve. Your 'Fleshy Master Owen' is awake and kicking... is he always so grumpy and preferred state vegetable like or dead?" he would state once he got in contact with the robot.
Guess I'm not the winner of the gloomiest... he thought to himself.
As he packed up his personal tools he looked tot he man, "Do you know what happened and what you were doing at the time?"
This contact knows Vakim as Ban Sarn, luckily. Ban is purposely not giving details over a com channel he is unsure about, in the vicinity of a Jedi temple. He's trying to hint that he's got a large about of Glitterstim to offload, and that he wants to meet and get it done quick.

Before leaving the Jedi temple again though "Steve" stops by the Quarter Master and to try and get some various droid parts.
OOC: Trying to get enough Droid parts to build another Pit-Droid and up-grade the mouse droid to have spider legs so it can more easily move across the ship. I have 5k+ credits to spare in this endeavor, as I am sure the free goodies allowed to us wouldn't account for all I would like to purchase.
OOC: GM, I'd like to see if I know Teeba, would you like a Streetwise or Knowledge: Underworld and what would the difficulty be?
Edit:Adding in my Knowledge: Underworld roll. I'm saying that since Vakim has a price on his head, he would for sure pay attention to the Hutts and their dealings.

Orninoh makes his way back to the ship in a less expedient manner watching Steve move at a more hurried space, having messaged Vashee on his location in case he'd be needed for anything the doctor went back to the makeshift medical bay. In the downtime he'll go over his medical supplies and without most people around probably sulk about the impending doom they were about to embark on.
Ban will inform the rest of the crew of the situation.

Orninoh figured they hadn't notified the Jedi and he'd discuss with the captain after the fact that Jedi wouldn't be hanging out with people that smuggled or sold Spice. In a way that meant that the Jedi might not be looked at as Jedi when around the crew.
"Steve" then sends the newly modified "Spider-Droid" to scour the ship and send notifications if it locates anything that needs repair.
Before returning to the ship I check in with our newest allies, and let each of them know we're preparing to depart and everyone should return to the ship and get settled as quickly as they can. "We'll be making a brief stop on planet before hitting the void. Have a delivery to make, the work that brought me to this system in the first place." I politely inform each of them.
I head for the ship, and once there I'll let Ornioh know the details of the exchange and ask him to, when he next sees 'Steve', let the pit droid in on it as well - the more of us are present, the less likely we'll be ambushed... And the more likely we'll come out of an ambush alive.
"Indeed Sir, we are quite aware of this area being a private port and have been told 'whose' it is. Although discretion is paramount in our line of work so is a timely delivery... and an altercation would also not be ideal for either party I believe. Since the owner of the hanger requested us specifically to come here to this very location for a job under his employ... could I inquire your name so we can notify the owner of your orders to not follow his request, wishes, and/or desired outcome of events for this matter and in essence contradict him. We also wish to be leaving in a timely manner and also wish a quick resolution." Orninoh explained politely and with smile and sincerity.
(OoC: If I don't get a go ahead from Candi and/or Friar Tuk's character void the dialogue part. Also I'm trying to use charm to resolve things with out blaster burns. Let me know the difficulty Darth also. Or is it a roll off?)
(OoC: Torhaa will be happy to let Orninoh try and do this peacefully. He's more the... threatening type anyway)

Oh... oh my... he thinks to himself flashing a smile at the human in the welcoming group not sure if everyone letting themselves known is going to help or not. Orninoh also wonders how much the Jedi know about the shady side of the planets populace... he starts to try and rationalize it in case they ask questions after the fact.

At that moment the thug who ran off cones back and yells out to the human, "It should be the package boss is looking for." He runs up, and hands a small briefcase to the human who turns and shows its contents to Bam. "There you go, credits. Now bring out the delivery and we can get this over with."
(as this happens the Spider Droids scamper off of "Steve" and climbs into one of Orninoh's pockets for cover and pokes its head out)
:: OOC - committing a Force die to upgrade Vigilance and Perception checks. If these guys make a move, Leokri wants to be first.
He'd wait for the cargo to arrive and suggest an inspection on both sides.
"Good, good." Then turning back to Bam, "Looks like we got ourselves a deal then. You take the money and we'll take the spice. Boys, start unloading it. You my friend can take this." The human then hands Bam the suitcase of credits.
Ban steps back and lets Steve and Orninoh examine the case of credits. While this is happening, Ban discretely calls up Veers on his comms.
Let me know if I need to make a stealth check. Ban wants to confirm that these thugs are the right thugs.

Edit: I'd like to spend two advantages to trigger a double weapon strike. Nova Viper does 7+6=13 (note the Pierce 2 quality of this weapon) damage. I have the Sorry About the Mess talent which reduces crit range of a weapon by 1 rank; so expending last 2 advantages to trigger a crit withe the Nova Viper.
Second attack with the Quicktrigger: This blaster has the Set Trigger mod which adds 1 Success to the first time this is used in an encounter. So 6+6+1=13 Damage.
If I've done all this math correctly, and correctly understood the two weapon mechanics, that's 26 Damage and a Crit on the leader.

Ban hears this and sees the leader headed for the exit, "Oh no you don't..." and fires at the retreating human.
Assuming two purple for medium range. Using Triumph to trigger second weapon attack. 7+3=10 damage from Nova Viper (Pierce 2), and 6+3=9 damage from Quicktrigger for a total of 19 damage (pierce 2). Passing my advantages on to add a blue the next two PC actions.
Edit: Orninoh beat me to it. If his attack kills the leader, I'll target the thugs. If the leader is still up after his attack, I'm hitting the leader again.

From what I've seen it would actually be +6 damage. It isn't written very well, but in an interview with one of the writers, he said the additional damage is total successes instead of total after the first.
Leokri returns to the fray, with his lightsaber lit. "You gentlemen will want to put down your weapons and leave -- as this thing is taking off and if you're still on board, it's going to be a long drop." He closes the distance with the thugs and swings his lightsaber at the nearest thug's weapon in an effort to destroy it and disarm him.

The doctor didn't like dealing with criminals that much but they didn't know, was this a small time thug at the right place at the right time with the wrong crowd, a double cross from the customer tying up loose ends so they didn't have to pay, or something worse... They needed answer and dead bodies gave little in that department.

On the way over he flips his left "hand" back and activates his Fusion Cutter and also activates his Shock Glove in his right "hand" and puts them near "sensitive" locations of the goon.
"This One will activate Questioning Mode when Fleshy Master Vakims/Bans orders."
ooc: "steve" is a bit confused with vakim as he knows vakim as vakim but vakim refers to himself as ban
He is right though dead bodies leave a trail and we can't be doing this if we're going up against professional soldiers and the like. Dead people don't leave me with a lot of information that we need to find out." Orninoh stated putting his backpack on the crates and going through his medical supplies. "Also Steve this one is doing things, I don't know if that means it's happy, sad, or excited.... is... is.. it going to leak things in my pocket? That's not sanitary Steve... It's not sanitary at all." the doctor will state looking to the lone survivor, he was giving him an option out if he was decent otherwise Orninoh would probably have to take a shower to get the bits off of himself from this crew's people skills.
He looks around for Leokri, looking to have his "I told ya so" moment, then remembers he left to have a "chat" with the other Jedi. Now that's a conversation I want nothing to do with! He reaches down and scoops up the case of credits, turns to Torhaa, "We better get this cargo back aboard. And we better take a close look at this case of creds. Make sure there's no tracers or booby traps before we split the pot. Steve! Steve, you 'ol rascal the Doc can take care of himself, where's your hidey hole?"
The Spider Droid climbs out of Orninos's pocket, pats him on the head and climbs into the ships bowls to locate anything that needs repair or reprogramming directly to "Steve".
Ban works with Steve to get the "goods" stashed away, then figures its time they had a look at the case with the credits. In response to the Doc's information regarding Teeba; Ban doesn't really care. He smelled a double cross, and nixed it. As far as Ban is concerned, Teeba owes him one, and he's already decided that the spice cargo is appropriate payment. If he can make contact later with Teeba's people, he'll gladly still sell to them. But if he finds another buyer sooner...
After "Steve" is done helping Ban, he will climb through the ducts to the Cargo Hold and climb out of the ceiling to see if the New Fleshy Masters Leorki and Mordicai need anything. Seeing them in some distress, "Steve" will casually walk down the wall from the ceiling to them and say "Activating Friendship Mode." and will proceed to try to comfort both parties and even gently taking one of their hands into each of his and slowly make them hold hands (while emitting a comforting tone, or at least what he thinks is a comfortable tone). Then gently pat their hands and walk away back into the ducts of the ship, happy with a successful mission.
Leokri paces, "It seems to me, the subtle answer would have been to make the deal and go away. When we are successful, each of the crew will receive more than enough credits to ensure a life of luxury behind as many force fields as they could possibly imagine."
