Description
Amanda is tall and fit, with curves in all the right places. Her skin is flawless, bone structure near perfection, and she moves with a natural grace and coordination that would put a practiced dancer to shame. Looking at her, one would think she was the product of some sort of genetic manipulation experiment that stripped away all of the imperfections to create the perfect female physical specimen.
Biography
Amanda had as typical a childhood as one could have growing up in a wealthy household. She was afforded every luxury during her upbringing, but remembers very little of her childhood as outstanding. When her parents died in a shuttle crash on Martian Outpost 2, their wealth was put into a trust to support the young woman, and she was left in the care of her mothers’ best friend, Elizabeth Cavendish.
Elizabeth welcomed Amanda into her home and did her best to provide a stable environment for the young lady. She spent most of her time off at boarding school, but returned to the Cavendish Estate during the holidays. During one of these trips home, she finally met Elizabeth’s son, Will, but they spent little time together. Amanda was a fashionista and enjoyed the galas and events to which Elizabeth constantly invited her, while Will would rather spend his days in a lab.
She met
Jack Herman through a friend of a friend, and it was love at first sight. The way he talked about humanity, the opportunities available to us at this particular juncture in history, all of his mad, amazing theories about evolving beyond our limitations, everything about him was like a giant magnet to Amanda. She fell head over heels for Jack, and in no time, the two of them were an item.
The closer they became, the more Amanda entertained his ideas about transcendence, the more angry her guardian, Elizabeth, became. Amanda wasn’t sure why, but when Elizabeth showed her that damning evidence of Jack’s infidelity, Amanda dumped him without so much as a phone call.
Elizabeth’s son
Will helped distract her from the melancholy that set in after the breakup, and soon the two were dating at the gentle nudging of Elizabeth herself. She said Amanda was good for Will, and the two made a perfect power couple, her beauty and his brains, and both stood to inherit massive fortunes. It seemed perfect, and before she knew it, she was engaged to Will. But the same bliss she felt with Jack wasn’t there.
During an event where she was sponsoring exceptional students from underprivileged neighborhoods, she met an enigmatic, attractive young woman named
Annabella Guerrero, and in no time found herself seduced by the beguiling young woman. She knows it’s wrong to cheat on her fiance, but no one has ever made her feel like Annabella makes her feel.
A man named
Richard has been blackmailing her, extorting money from her to keep the secret of her infidelity safe.
Secrets
Amanda doesn’t know that she is a clone of Elizabeth. She doesn’t know that her consciousness was overlaid with Veronica‘s brain patterns as a test to ensure her body was compatible with the mindmapping technique Elizabeth’s scientists are still working to perfect.
