Descent into Adventurers League

I am at it again running yet another Adventurers League rules Play though some modules. This time we'll be following the set of season 9 rules running along with the newest book Descent into Avernus.

If you would like to apply throw up a thing,
There needs to be 3 active players to continue the playing at the "table" up to a maximum of 7 during play.

If you weren't able to make into the slot, apply anyways and i'll put a little waiting list together and bapadabap!

I play AL here in Denmark.
Should I make a PBP-AL character, or can I use a Tier1 char I already have laying around?

Rune, you can use which ever you wish. If your current T1 character hasn't started its journey in season 9 when it started out it unfortunatly doesn't get the cool stuff.

If you wish you may do either.

CaveJohnson, how does adventurers league work in pbp? I'm interested, but I'm not sure what it entails. I kind of like playing a tiefling with wins.

I would also be interested, but with the same wonderings as optimumsquare above...

Never done Adventure League in any format and like Kubby and optimumsquare, how does it work?

I'm interested, but I'm not too sure if I can use my character for this game for my country's AL games. I should also ask this with them.

Adventureres league in pbp would be the same as if playing it IRL.
Season 9 Players guide.
Winged PC are not avaliable at lvl 1 with out heavy restrictions (DM rewards from like 5 seasons ago) HOWEVER! with season 9 there is an option that as an Aasimar or Teifling. At lvl 5 you can sack certain racial abilities and gain wings. (see link above)

If you have a previous AL character that is within the Tier level of the modules they can be played here (thats why AL exists so you can continue with the adventure!)

Salutations. Checking to get some more players for this Adventure league rule game.
Currently there is 2 players i need a minimum of 3 and were about 1/2 way though the first module.

I'd be up for it, I would have to read up on the adventure league rules. Is it a major difference to just playing 5e?

Yes AL is more "structured" but other then that its not super aweful, there is a bit about gold and magic items I haven't read on the new Season 10 rules yet (which i should) but this was created with the Season 9 ruleset

New rules 10 limited me to 1 magic item in tier 1. Don't know about higher tiers. I had two and offered on a third... had to reduce.

I'll put out that I am in a game run by CaveJohnson here and he is a phenomenal DM. If you like good ole DnD 5e, then I would recommend giving it a shot!

OH theres room for plenty, I'm gonna shoot for 3 players. that would put us at 5 players in game 6 if the other returns.

Part of me whats to return to the game, still have my character, but I think that I am at the sweet spot of games that I am currently in.
