New mail email

So this is something PHPbb does by default, and I was wondering if it was a good idea, but what do you think about Gamers' Plane sending you an email when you get an in-site mail? I do worry about the risk of spamming a bit, but I'm sure there are mitigation options there.

I think it will be helpful. I use a gaming email for sites like this anyway so it won't interfere with my business.

At least have it as an option you can turn on/off -- I like having such a feature (especially if I can get emails from the site whenever a post is made on a thread I've subscribed to) because it helps me decide when I need to check back in (ie/ oh! I've got a note, I should check in!).

Yah, the subscription feature is still on the todo. But mail is something I realized is a lot more prevalent right now.

I want you to log in every day anyway.
