Updates/Deadlines

Since I'm a new fish in the PbP pond here...what do you all think of trying to get character creations done by this Saturday (January 11, 2020) by 12:00 AM (EST)? I'm open to any and all options.

I'm just trying to gauge the story material and timing of things.

Let me know. Thanks.

Sounds good to me

definitely sounds good

Also - is 4 posts per weeks something everyone is good with? I could do a bit more or less. Just sound off if you would like a difference frequency level. Thanks again.

I like 4 posts/week. That works well for me

I am post crazy but I can deal with a more casual pace.

I'm the same as Cube

Oh everyone I will be playing a rootin tootin shootin gunslinger type.

I generally make a habit of checking in at the very least once every morning before I get my day started, but typically log in a few times throughout the day as well.

Oh remember in this setting they add shooting and riding to the core skills.

Both Agility?
Jan 7, 2020 3:39 pm
Yes agility skills

Yes indeed! It assumes your character has already went through Ranger training and at the very least picked up Shooting and Riding at a base level (d4) at the least.

Also, if you're a human, you get a free Edge. I forgot about that and the GM had to remind me, which bought me back 2 points to spend on skills.

If most of us are good with a January 11 Character Creation deadline then I will try to have the prelude ready by this weekend as well. As soon as I get all of your character's starting sheets approved we can move it along.

Your character backgrounds have been great thus far. Primers...Why does your character want to be a Ranger? What kind of encounters have they had with these robots? Other reasons..? How did they end up in Minnesota? No need to respond here...save it for the prelude! ;) Keep it secret...keep it safe. :p

Hey, so this will be my first SWADE, I am looking forward to it. I am super open to teachable moments haha so please don't be afraid to catch me up on anything I might no do properly.

As for the deadline that looks good to me, I'll probably do all the finishing touches on my character on the Saturday as it's my day off

Sounds good! I'll certainly help as much as I can! Looking forward to learning and playing with everyone.

I submitted a character. Have a look if it's done correctly since it's only the second time I've ever made a SW character (the first time was around 7 years ago). Also, I hope I even used the correct edition xD
I haven't done gear yet. I'll add that tomorrow.

I'll go ahead and open up the Prelude. Please feel free to drop comments/suggestions along the way. I'm a newb, be gentle! haha. Let's have fun.

I'll try to post as often as possible, but if I'm slowing things down, go ahead and bot me. My wife is legally blind and I am her eyes. I do all the driving, most of the cooking, and I read and take dictation for her emails. We're both staff members for a local convention in March, and that takes up a lot of our time. My weekends are typically very full. Usually, I'm able to carve out a few minutes each day to catch up on moves in the seven PbP games that I run, and the eight that I play in, but sometimes, it gets a little difficult.
