All: There has been some wild rumors surrounding the Trumps, including speculation as to the true source of Inga's power. What are some of these rumors?

One of the rumors I've heard, amongst drunken tavern patrons, is that Inga's youth and beauty is stolen from the very earth itself. The rats who are creating famine are stealing the life of the earth for her. So she may maintain herself. This line became slightly less believable when that patron fell out of his chair and was sick upon the ground.

Azarx has heard positive rumors of Inga and the Trump's. He knows his brothers and sisters in the north would be horrified at the things they are doing to "nature". Not Azarx. Azarx loves nature and revels in it as much as the next Druid... however, what is nature? Is not the stones of the ground, of which technology is made, nature? Living in the frozen north has shown him, nature is not just the leaves you see, nor the wood on trees, it is deeper then that.
The rumors are of a feast being hosted by the rich of the city, dancing, drinking, and merrymaking. The rumor (which was spread excitedly) was that there would be a separate feast hosted for the farmers and poorer folks of the city (which will not be as grand as the rich, but food will be there). Speculation is high that this is somehow a selfish act on the mayor's part, but Azarx remains cynical. Those who have already decided to go, claimed that Inga was a messanger of the gods. Her powers divinely imbued, for the future of civilization. One thing is for sure, people here are getting hungrier and hungrier, they will show up at the feast, if they want to or not.

In a time of plight to have such good luck as the Trumps isn't possible, some speak of a deal made it all possible. A pact with a dark power is mentioned in hushed words although much else isn't really known.

Few remember how long the Trumps have been here, years? Generations? Anyone local asked seems hazy on the when and eventually boils down to the family 'Always being there for as far back as I can remember' when asked about it.

Nobles leaving seemed to have enjoyed their time with the Trumps although few can remember the details besides it being a delightful experience. They do seem put off by something the shortone has done. I care little if they are foolish enough to fall victim they need to learn that they are just another form of prey in the world.

Rurgosh is curious as to what lead to the Trumps success, he cares little if they wield dark powers and take from others... This power and understanding it, and how to truly wield such a thing... that interests the Dwarf much which is why he hounds those speaking gossip and rumors to find out all he can about what brings the Trumps fortune in such bad times.

Aye, I've heard those rumors too. Though depending on the number of ales the dark force always changes. The only one even to interest me is one I heard a particularly sober old man say. He relayed the same story I've heard time and time again, but when I sarcastically asked him what form the dark force took he leaned in close, and whispered in an incredibly morbid, raspy voice, "Death."

It's hard to take a man seriously that has been found, on more than one occasion, to be attempting to fornicate with livestock. I couldn't get away from him quick enough.

Not one for idle gossip or rumors Reszket had nonetheless heard her share concerning the family Trump. For the most part she had either written these off as wild speculation or ignored them completely as none of the wild theories ever seemed to be within the realm of reality. "Who in their right mind would build a wall completely around Város and its surrounding territory!" she has thought to herself "Preposterous!!"

Recently, however, a group of passing nobles had requested a guided hunting trip into the surrounding wilderness and Reszket was more than happy to offer her services. Once away from Város proper the group started to discuss the Baron and his ever youthful daughter. The standard rumors were quickly discussed and dismissed as "Mere distractions to keep the commoners unaware of what is really happening." With the party moving deeper into the wilderness the discussion took a more serious tone.
Nobles says:
"Their power is a gift bestowed upon them for their obedience. As long as they do as they're told, their hold over the wealth of this land shall remain."

"Surely they have a weakness, something we can use against them to convince the brothers that their gifts to the Baron are undeserved."

"In time, my friend, in time. I have operatives in place at this very moment slowly infiltrating the Baron's militia..."
Realizing that they were talking loud enough that Reszket could most likely hear them, the nobles abruptly ended their conversation and continued on in silence. Reszket, however, could not shake the feeling that there was something more to this discussion than mere rumor and decided that she would share this story with Mouse upon her return.

The rest of the hunt was uneventful until one of the nobles accidentally discharged their crossbow; striking a glancing blow across the face of the eldest noble.
