Current Maps

Please post in this thread your final maps with where your cities (including level) and defenses are. It's getting hard to locate them in other threads, so I'm not sure what I'm waiting on still, and who's waiting on me to update the map.

I removed one village because of the new rules. For the strength of my two settlements, I need to know how the new rules interact with the Capital but the locations will stay like this

Here's my most recent update. I believe it is still valid within the new settlement rules.

I'll make any necessary edits here so this post will always be the most up to date.

I'll have to revise if the number of villages fit the new rules but the lands stay the same...
Everything should be fine as is.

Your capital is like any other settlement, you just get it at level 3 for free.

Most current map update has Houses Fugue, Maa-Talia, Revelos, Sharva, and Tamer. If you're not on this list, please paste your final maps here when you have them.

Just checked, Maa-Talia shouldn't have cells on Stormwrack but should have one cell in northeastern crown lands, otherwise looks good.

Capital is circle with an x, and other circles are level 1 settlements. No defenses yet.

Ok. so with 19 lands I can only get a capital and a village. Because I lost my city, I'll move away from the crownland's center and just pack all my lands on the border. We'll assume the prince was moved away from the court and closer to the border then.

so... that leaves me 55 population to spend on one village with 10 to make it... that's 3 level ups available. lets make the village level 3 and capital level 4?

I can't figure out how to get the map out of the rules book so I just took a screen grab of the overmap and circled the general area I would like to be. Generally I'd like a small section of coastline, and a long thin track that the house moves its herds from the upper pastures to the lower pastures each year.

The Capital would be located at the head of one of the rivers and we would have a tower at the coast and another at the upper pasture near the mountains. otherwise no fortifications.

I love this map. Very useful. probably not a bad idea for everyone to do one like this, but that's not a REQUIREMENT by any means.

Yeah, I like that too. I'll try to make something like that at some point, hopefully before things start up if I have time.

Nice! How'd you get all the terrain color on there? Did you do that by hand?

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I thought you had a way lower land score?

You're not wrong, with the recent modifications in the rules, I realocated the bonuses received from my historical events to keep as many villages as I could. (I went from 8 to 2 with the rule changes). You can go on my first post in the Kraken Society forum to see how I allocated them if you want. I wanted to have as many "port cities" as possible since I see myself as a sea faring nation.

The background color @falconloft sent me, the blue shading for my land I did in a photo editing studio called GIMP.

Looks fine, but your capital is level 3 for free (hence it giving you 3 dice).

I'll try to put it in the next few days. Life stuff takes most of my mental space right now and I haven't found the time and energy to follow all the rule changes to complete the map properly.

The Green border is hopefully my final map territory. The 1 cross is the Capital City of Revelos, while the 4 squares are the forts. (I will move the city to the cell on the left.)

circle x = lvl 3 capital
+2 = keep defense in capital

After rechecking land scores with the map, Revelos is one short, Fugue is one over. I'm going to adjust the map accordingly, no need to submit new maps. I'll be posting zoomed it versions of the map for each of you in Discord, and will link here.
