Space Basics

Here are going to be some general guidelines. If you have any questions, feel free to ask.

1. Space

Flying from planet to planet in the same region only requires you to fly, generally will be a 1-5 day journey depending on your ship and the planets you're traveling to/from.

If you travel from one region to another, you have to fly into the Astral Sea. Normally this won't be a problem as the ships function with essentially magic GPS. All you need to do is put the planet or coordinates into the ship and it can fly you there automatically. Occasionally it will malfunction or you'll have to take over manually (middle of combat). When that happens we'll deal accordingly.

2. Space Combat

Different ships have different weapons, but essentially this is how it will work:

Pilot - controls evasive maneuvers
Evade - +5 AC, -5 attack
Attack position - -5 AC, +5 Attack
Hold Steady - No modifiers

Shield Operator - Controls the shields
Repair - choose quadrant and roll to see if you can repair the shields
Focus Shield - move shielding from one quadrant to another

Cannon Operator
Dex to attack enemies

Missile Operator
Dex to attack enemies

difference between missile and cannon is based on the vessel?

Is there a cool down for the missiles versus the cannon?

No real requirements, just a good dex score, really.

No cool down, but Missiles are at disadvantage at close range.
