Eager beginner looking for a game ASAP!

Hello everyone.

I'm new to RPGs and I'm looking desperately for a group to play with regularly. I have nothing but free time on my hands these days so if you need someone who can play any day of the week, please let me know. I'm willing to learn almost any game or rule set. I just want to get to playing!

Almost any type of game, you say? I'm starting a game of MAID, a game where everyone plays a randomly generated character trying to win the affection of their boss. It's game geared towards simple, random fun. I made threads about the rules and how to make a character, so you'll be ready to play in no time!

I've also got a slot open in my Cypher System super hero game...found here. If you are at all familiar with Numenera, this is the same system, but instead of the far future, we are playing superheroes in the near future. Newbies welcome.

What kind of game are you interested in playing? Science-fiction? Horror? Fantasy? Modern? If fantasy is your pick, then feel free to send me a DM. I'm not really running a campaign, but I'd be happy to walk you through character generation and run a few scenarios with you to help you get a feel for what gaming is like.
