are there any star wars games with openings?

I looekd around and all I saw were games that were full already or ones that were posted months ago. just curious.

I had a slot open in an Age of Rebellion game and I've got a Force and Destiny game with five people that might be okay adding a sixth. What are you hoping to play?

well, I was hoping to find anything star wars. I've only read the basic rules that deals with obligation. I hear the rebellion and force and destiny games have different mechanics. I'll be a total n00b no matter what I play in though...

Unless there's interest in an EOTE game? If I can get 4 players, I might be able to get that started up. Had a couple of my games need to hit the pause button due to RL of the GMs so I have a little more headroom than I'd have otherwise.

Me too, new PC generation. Also what other game SW setting you going to run Falryx besides the two you're doing currently.

EotE sounds more appealing to me if there's more interest for that

I think the EOTE universe offers a better crossover with how my FAD campaign is going. The crew are definitely... um... Good leaning but they aren't goody-two-shoes. :)

I've always been interested in playing a disgraced doctor that had to flee to the outer rim or a gambler. hot shot pilot seems like a cliche to me and I'm sure that slot will already be taken

I always play "whatever the party needs" but I have been enjoying playing non-combat oriented characters in this system. I have an intimidation based smuggler pilot (uses FaD I'm afraid) on temporary hiatus I was enjoying.. But I'll fill any gap :) (I will, certainly, have force sensitivity though. I like the system, so always dip my toe in it).

I can agree with that. With my roll20 got up my mechanic is the biggest wuss however he is a genius hacking things.

If information is available in SRD format, something I can legally use, I can build one!

Someone did one as a program for PCs, still need all the books really since it literally says Talent X Description: (Book and Page Reference). I use it to make sure my math works out.

If I can figure out what is allowed, I can build that. And we know GP is the best of them all :p

I need to add L5R first! I want to though, assuming people will run games. Right now, all char sheets are at what I'm calling v1, eg, they're built, they're functional. v2 sheets will have advanced features, look better, have reference material (where licenses allow).

I'd run an l5r game if you got quick npcs working (and said quick npcs were separated in my library)

I've created an EOTE game called "TBD". :)

Rather than running the beginner adventure (it was good for me and FAD, it's feeling a little constraining on AOR) I figured -- let's get 4 players and get the characters made and work through backgrounds and how they came to be together, etc. With that in hand I can then look at how to shape a campaign against that crew.

ok, I'm in. now to figure out what I want to play...

I like the sound of all of this. The only issue is that I am also a noob, to FFG Star Wars and PbP games, and I only have the Force & Destiny book.
I could be the Force blaster, if need be.

Given the recent interest in L5R, I'll start working on the char sheet for that.

I want to run some of the classic fan-made horror adventures. I once built myself a forum on Wordpress (using an existing architecture, of course - I don't program from scratch, no time!) just to facilitate a game (I had built in features specifically to support L5R though and the way I was running it; such as a massive array of NPCs I could post as, and a page dedicated to tracking NPC status - alive/dead with basic information about each; and a dice rolling widget that spat out the result in formatted BBC code).

Which is to say, once L5R is up, I'll start up a game :)

If you start something up when you're ready maybe put a post up in the Tavern. I'm up for trying out the system although I'm in a few games...

Ok i have applied, however if there is someone that wants to get in that hasn't played I will drop out so they can experience it. I have played in Fairyx game before so it is fun.

Of course, that's what the Tavern is for.

Matt -- we can either help you through another CRB character or talk about how to integrate a FAD character into the crew. The key thing to think about is the rough alignment of the crew -- if you wanted to play a "good" force user and were hooked up with hardened criminals, that would take a toll. Ditto if you were happy to be consumed by the dark side, but were working with a bunch of Robin Hoods. :)

I kinda wana make d&d ff game. I think it would make battles and things more interesting.

We've been playing Modern D&D in San Waterdeep -- and it's been a blast.

My noobiness is about to show: What's CRB?
I mean I've seen Rebels so I'm sure I could find a way to have my Force-User stick around no matter what the rest of the crew is doing. Accidents happen and many cultures have interesting architecture which I Could study at VERY opportune moments.

hey, a jedi's gotta eat too. bounty hunting pays well. it could also lead you to encounter other jedi as well and help them get to safety.

I always like the idea of the force but didn't want to be a jedi or a sith. I liked how Ventress went into Bounty Hunting so well with her knowledge.

Oh yeah. I was definietely thinking just a Force user, not one religion or the other.

Three of the four slots are filled and everyone's created characters that signed up.

You can actually edit the data fields in that character generator to say what you want. So, if you want to take the time to add in all the text manually for your abilities and talents, you can.

Falryx, if you still have room I could jump on one more SW game. Two of my D&D games seem to have gone into hibernation, and I haven't heard from my SW players in a while now, so that game is slow too. With Eidolons off my plate, I'd be happy to jump into an EotE game.

Only question is: will there be an issue/crossover with your FaD game? Let me know. If there's room, let me know the character type that's needed for the party, I'm flexible.

so far we got a doctor, a bounty hunter, and a force using sneaky type. not sure what you like playing, but star wars always needs a pilot!

I'll have to rely on you guys being capable role players if we cross over with FAD. :) Or I'll have to contrive to not have you show up in the same place at the same time to make sure the space-time continuum isn't disrupted.

There's always splitting the party too. PbP lends itself really well to that sort of thing. I'm also fully confident I can RP two players if I have to ;)

Given that state and the fact the game has been open for a week - I'll expand to five and accept both those in, at which point we'll be full up.

@MattParody -- wasn't sure for sure if you wanted in or not since you hadn't applied to the game? If so, let me know and I can talk to Kj and Friar to see if they'd hand over their spot. :)
