Iron Kingdoms interest

I've DM'd part 1 of the Witchfire trilogy back when it was a 3.5 module. Years later, I discovered it's spawned a wargame and an RPG. I got the book but never really got around to play the actual game. I'm looking for a group to give it a spin, as well as hopefully a DM who knows the system and world.

I'd be interested in playing.

Anyone got experience with the game and/or setting?

I've run several one-shots and it's a great game, but really hard without proper minis and battlemaps as it's pretty much ripped from the wargame. Lots of aoes in precisely measured feet, grenade arc deviations, etc. Would be perfect for VTTs without grids actually. Sadly I don't have any free time to run one but maybe in a few months when life settles down I could run one.

So 4 players and a potential DM. Let's hope everyone sticks around till nezzeraj is available.

One of my games is on hold because of the pandemic so I have some time. I'll run a one-shot to test out the system in PbP format since I'm still not sure how a tactical wargame-focused rpg will work without grids and minis. I'll try to prep some stuff over the weekend and maybe we can start on Monday.

Not really, though personally I'd be interested in trying something unique to this steampunky magical setting

Ok created the game and sent everyone invites. Character creation guidelines are in the game description. If everyone has their characters submitted by Monday we'll start then.

I saw this game played once. It was very entertaining.

Ooh, shit yeah, loved IKRPG. I ran short campaign in it, and played in a few short ones as well, but we could never keep a group going for very long without falling apart.

Would be okay making this my first attempt at a game on this site. Rogue type. Loves to steal stuff. Just not from the party.
