Savage Worlds Dice Roller Help

so, I'm running a little Savage Worlds game and I'm playing with the dice roller and decks.
Decks i have figured, I think.
the roller as far as i can tell cannot distinguish between
"to hit" where you just take the best and
"damage" where you add them up.

but you can add constants to a roll just fine.
it just means for the damage i just have to add the rolls after the posting.

am i missing sommat?

If you type a roll as 2D6, the dice roller will always add them up.
If you want the rolls to be counted separately, you can type out: 1D6, 1D6
If you need to add a modifier to your those separate rolls, you can type 1D6+2, 1D6+2
You can't add two different dice together unfortunately. 1D6+1D4 doesn't work so if you need to do that, you'll have to add them together manually.
