Help - sending game invites to a player

Hi all
I have just set up a game and am trying to send an invite to someone I know is interested but his user name does not appear on the drop down list when I type it in - is this a bug or is there a way around this?

Just tell them to apply to the game and then accept them once they do.
I don't know what the error could be but this way should still work

You could also just try copying and pasting their username into the box and not relying on the drop down. Not positive that will work but you can try.

Yes apparently there is a glitch of some sort that affects some folks but not others (I ran into this as well) in that they do not appear in the list of potentials and even if you know there name you cannot invite them -- they have to join the game (hopefully that does not affect them)
