I have decided to try running a D&D 5e game here. This will be my first time running a game on PbP, so this will be a bit of a learning experience. Below is a copy of the game description.

The game is set in Praetara, an original setting, and I hope to run it long term. My plan is to keep things moving along, and hope everyone can post most days.

Play will begin as soon as we have a full roster or April 18th, whichever happens first.
EDIT: Please post your interest in this form AND put in an app on the game page to join. This way I can keep all the requests open and transparent.

In the event that more people apply for the game than I have slots, I will keep a running roster on this post to update. Maybe I'll run a second game if everything works out.

CURRENT GAME ROSTER
LightOfMidnight
Runelord
Sassafras
Khulod
Aldrusian
Kubby87

NEXT GAME ROSTER
DarkReaver1998
Wulfnor
HeroAmongMen

INTRODUCTION
Welcome to Ravenholm Keep. I am Matias Clearwater, executor for the Ravenholm Estate. This is a most unusual situation, but it seems you have a connection.

The Raven Kings settled this keep and managed the town, Lacy's Hollow. We assume they met some grim fate on an adventure. Each of you have been named the heirs to the Keep and their titles. It has taken some time to track all of you down. You are charged with taking up their mantle as managers and protectors of the valley, and in return, you inherit the keep, and everything inside.

Here's the keys to the gate... one more thing... it seems your benefactors locked up the keep magically. For now, you can only access the courtyard until you find another way in. Good luck!

CHARACTER GENERATION INFO
Heirs of Ravenholm is a hub-based semi-sandbox adventure. The PCs primary objective is to settle the lands and help the people regrow the valley. A terrible fate has fallen on Lacy?s Hollow, and the area around it. In time they will gain clues as to what happened to their benefactors, and why none of them have heard of this place before.

The game is set in an original setting. Praetara is a high-fantasy setting with prevalent magic and the beginnings of industrial-era technology. Trains, factories, and steam-ships exist in several large cities, but smaller towns and out of the way areas still rely on traditional means. The continent is similar to Europe in shape and variety of locales, but flipped east-west.

Characters will be 1st level, using the standard array for attributes: 15, 14, 13, 12, 10, 8. You will also have to pick a homeland from the setting. (Provided once you are selected for the game.)
