Dungeons and Dragons 5e: Death House

Thinking about running the Death House prelude to the upcoming Curse of Strahd adventure. Would anyone be interested? It's short, something like Level 1-3, but I thought it might be fun.

You can count me as a standby if you cannot fill the roster! Not familiar with the premise, though.

Is Death House another classic?

I am, but I'll give others a chance to jump aboard if they'd like to first. I've got plenty of games going as is.

Basically the characters explore a house in Barovia (of Ravenloft fame)

It's a new little adventure, though, not a remake.

Just looked it up, cool! I want to play... but I also want to, more than I already did, crash through the rest of Rise of Tiamat with my local group and just run this into Curse.

I may be interested if you're starting mid-late next week. But if a newbie wants to jump in first that's cool.

Naatkinson, you know that I will jump at playing a game with you or indeed any of the players who have responded so far. You - all of you - are imaginative and fun players whose posts I look forward to with anticipatory pleasure. You each make the site great, for me. But it's true, as others have said: we should let other players experience how great you are. I'm going to try to NOT join more games for a while - even the ones with you as DM - in order to share the wealth.

...aside from the games I'm going to start soon as GM. For those, I've already committed myself. But that's it, for a while.

I would be very interested on sitting on the other side of the table so to say.

Ooo I'd love to join! As I've mentioned elsewhere, I'm not familiar with 5e but love Ravenloft!

I'm going to post the game sometime today, I will be taking 4 players, with a preference for new players to the site. I will probably take one or two veterans of GP to help guide the newbies through the process :)

I'm rolling a simple Human Cleric, if that's ok. I take it I just roll a character manually then add it to the site?

You can actually use a dice roller on the site. Go to reply to a thread and click advanced at the bottom and you can make your rolls there.

ah ok, i did it manually anyway, if that's ok. I've added the character there. Let me know if you'd like me to do anything else.

I would also recommend subscribing to the forums for any game you are in so you will get email notifications about them
