"If you have any more leads or questions, please don't hesitate to come by. May the Gods be with you!"
You make the short walk to the Prancing Pegasus, check in, and have a good meal. For the sake of expediency, you chitchat a bit, and then head to bed.
[ +- ] Astraea
As you sleep, you dream of a beautiful lush forest. You are prancing and dancing and having a party for one in the woods. Suddenly, you hear a voice. One that fills the woods around you. "Astraea, my chosen. I have seen your deeds, and know the goodness in your heart. Today, you protected those weaker than you, and helped a horse recover from the atrocities of men. There is goodness in you, even if those you came from cannot see it. You embody one of the most important tenants I believe in: Freedom. You yearn to be free, and pursue the desires and whims of your heart. This day, I bless you with the gift of a hunter, to help you in your quest. Go forth, grow and improve, and I will be with you."
A warm feeling of comfort fills your bosom, and feel a connection with the wildlife around you. You run faster and faster into the woods, the wind in your hair, and you wake up.
You wake up, smiling, and look down to find a small marking, almost like a tattoo, on your left wrist. It is an arrow, not unlike the arrows you've seen in Nylea's mark. You gain the ability Nylea’s Devotee (now on your character sheet). As a devotee of Nylea, you have proven yourself a guardian of the wilds. You can cast hunter’s mark with this trait a number of times equal to your Wisdom modifier (minimum of once). You regain all expended uses when you finish a long rest. Wisdom is your spellcasting ability for this spell.
[ +- ] Sarlyn
As you dream, you yet again find yourself near a familiar bank of water. You stand there for a moment, listening to the running sound of the water. Suddenly, the water stirs, and an enormous cloaked figure emerges. They wear a tatter veil over their face, and wear six masks from their sash belt. "Sarlyn. You are a descendant of a long line of devoted servants protecting the sanctity of the transition from life to death. My eye has fallen to you directly, and I am pleased with your service thus far. I have seen your heart, and know it to be pure. I implore you to succor all who are dying; all mortals yearn to make the most of their time in life. Value both life and death, and you will truly know the sacredness of your calling."
The figure reaches down with a large rotted scythe they hold in their hand, and touch you gently on your chest where you were stabbed earlier that day. A cold rush surges through the wound, and suddenly you awake. You grasp your chest, and look down. The wound of the day is now completely healed, and just above where the wound once was, just over your collarbone, is a small crescent moon marking, like a tattoo. You gain the ability Athreos’s Devotee (now on your character sheet) - Your life is intertwined with the fate of the dead. You can cast gentle repose with this trait, requiring no material components, a number of times equal to your Wisdom modifier (minimum of once). You regain all expended uses when you finish a long rest. Wisdom is your spellcasting ability for this spell.

LONG REST ACHIEVED! WELCOME TO LEVEL 2
You all wake up the next morning, well-rested. The Prancing Pegasus is set up in a rectangular arrangement, with small one person rooms in a circle on ground level, opening into the center large open air congregating area with tables and a center island with a bar. The roof is raised high enough to allow some of the open walls to let fresh air into the building, held up with large marble columns. Behind the counter of the island are two humans, a man and a woman, both cooking and talking with customers. You begin to emerge from your rooms one by one, and are free to have some breakfast.
