Fridge to Another World(Anthony Wong)

It's 2 AM and anthony's got an exam at 8. He fell asleep for about an hour and woke up in his room with the books and review materials on the table. The room was silent, but so was Anthony who was already tired from working two jobs and studying for his exam later. He wouldn't need to do those jobs if he asked his dad for money.

Things would've been very different if he wasn't thirsty that night or if he drank tap water instead. His fate changed when he opened the fridge. Expecting to see a pitcher of water? He got blinded by light instead. Now who would do such a prank to tired Anthony?

The light slowly faded, but when Anthony opened his eyes he found himself in a dark cave. Thanks to the unusual-heart shaped-green-bio luminescent fungi growing along the walls, Anthony could somehow see what's around him. The air is damp, and the floor's wet.

There was another light in the cave, and it was that strange blue hologram like screen in front of him. Written on it were text that reads:
For some reason, Anthony knew what the letters mean.

After pressing the hologram screen, the number beside INT changed to 2. Anthony felt something, like he somehow became smarter? After a few moments the numbers and letters on the screen disappeared and then new words popped out...
The word free caught Anthony's eyes and for some reason it felt like he could change this word to something he knew or love.

After Anthony finished allocating skill points. The text vanished and then two boxes appeared on the screen, a grey one and a blue one. In the blue box was an icon of a broken sword. Written beside it was the text: Weapon Break.

On the grey box, the text "[ BLANK ]" was written. At first you were not sure what it meant but when you looked at it you felt strange and as you stare at it the word began to glow. Anthony began to see an image of what he want to become in his head. The "[ BLANK ]" slowly faded and the box's color turned blue. An icon was revealed and letters began to form.

What did Anthony get?

Anthony felt the change in him. it felt like he can memorize all books in a library if he wanted to but headache strikes him and he fainted. When he woke up, he felt like his head was somehow 'cleansed', memories were 'cleared' out. Apart from his name and knowledge on Economics, many things were forgotten. Faces, names, places, objects, they were all blurred. There's an exam later? That too went blurry. You still vaguely remember your family, how you loathe them.When Anthony woke up he saw three boxes on the holographic screen with text and pictures on it. Written on the top part of the screen was: Allocate 5 Power points.

As soon as he finished putting power points on the three powers, a surge of information entered his head. He learned how to cast time magic and learned the speed reading power. When he looked at his right hand, he was now wearing a red cotton(?) gauntlet. Anthony knew already what it was for.

The boxes on the screen disappeared and then the words congratulations popped out. Congratulations for what he may ask. One thing he also learned was how to summon the Menu and how to close it. He only need to tap his chest twice to open or close it. There was a limitation though. He can only check it once a day.

The hologram screen disappeared.
