Episode 1: Bezelbebe Forest

After all the contemplation about why you are here or if what you were experiencing was real, it was time for you to move. The screen just disappeared. If you waited for the moment you wake up cause you were still convinced this was a dream or just an illusion, you might be surprised to know that that won't happen because in reality you are in reality.

Can't you feel the wind? Can't you touch the ground? You can feel it, you can smell it, you can even taste it if you want just so you can come to the conclusion that everything around you are real. Now what? You may ask. You've got the freedom to explore the world around you. Answers don't just reveal themselves, you must find them.

Seek? What is it that you seek? A way out perhaps? Do you want to return to your life as an unemployed middle age man? Do you want to go back to talk to your ex girlfriend? Do you want to... what is it that you were supposed to do later again?

We begin our story with three men who just got pulled from their world into another world, in the forest of Bezelbebe, where all lost ones begin their journey.

Nel stood in the middle of the forest dumbfounded after his realization.

"If this is really that kind of world then that means 'those' things are this worlds reality." Nel looked around as he try to come to terms with his current situation. With his hangover gone, he had to check for himself the powers he gained.

Armor, flight, and breath? Hmmm, I could only use that breath once, and if this is a world of magic and dragons, I should avoid flying. Well, at least for now. Armor it is then.

Nel had to concentrate for him to manifest the cool armor he got using the power points. He relaxed himself and concentrated as he focus his thoughts into manifesting the armor. It looked cool on the picture so it should look cool when he wears it, right?

"Let's see what this armor looks like, hehe."

Anthony, who gained the ability to remember things quickly and accurately, suddenly forgot most things about him. Earlier he was worried about an exam and now he is in a cave with heart shaped glowing fungus and magic powers.

Without any idea of what it was he was supposed to do next, he decided to find an exit and perhaps a purpose to move forward other than hatred for his dad who's face he could not recall anymore.

Deep breaths Anthony. He tried to convince himself to stay calm.

Where do we go now? Anthony would start walking to find an exit. But first, he'd try out his new power on some of those glowing mushrooms.

They may come in handy. He thought.

Soon as the congratulations screen ended he tried out something.

"Now let's see who this Veronica is. I admit I still care for my EX but I'm also pissed." Dylan recalled how to perform the summoning and attempted to Summon the dark fairy Veronica. He didn't really care if its duration would only run for an hour. He just wanted to check if this Veronica looked like hs ex.

"Come out Veronica." he yelled as if it was part of his ritual to summon his fairy.

Without a mirror, he couldn't fully check what his armor looked like, especially the back part but he can say that it was durable and light. It's a red ensemble from head to toe with a western dragon motif. Seems like it was made of dragon scales if Nel would believe that. It's surprisingly comfortable to wear, refreshing even like it has a built in AC. It suits him well but unfortunately it has no pockets. He couldn't reach his pockets also while he's wearing it.

You pulled out the soft green glowing mushrooms in your dimensional storage. You touch it and poof it enters your storage as if you had a mouth in your hand eating the shrooms. Your gloves are fingerless so when you touch the glowing mushrooms your fingers would constantly get in contact with the shrooms and get coated in glowing sap. By the time you finished collecting your fingers are all glowy. Surprisingly though, the gauntlet did not get any glowy stuff on it no matter how many times you use it.

Another thing, you found out that whenever you take a mushroom it gets registered to your head accompanied by a bell like sound effect. *ting* *ting* *ting* When you close your eyes and think of the inventory, the contents of your storage are listed much clearer.

There's no other information about the items aside from the quantity and space it occupied.

When you called out Veronica's name, a pitch black sphere gradually expanded in front of you until it was the size of a beach ball. The ball then started to drip like goo on the floor revealing the body of a tiny fairy the size of a standard Barbie Doll. Its tinywings flutter like a dragon fly. You notice that she does look like the former lover who just dumped you earlier. Other than that, the black liquid like matter disappeared when it hit the floor leaving no trace.

Veronica opened her eyes. When she saw you she folded are arms and distanced herself from you.

"Hmph. What do you want, pervert!" She asked.

"Red. Nice, I dig that color. Gotta take a selfie then." Nel tried to take his phone but it was in his pocket which he doesn't have access to while he's in armor. That's sad, Nel, just sad. Nel frowned. He knew that it would take an hour before he can get off his armor again and with that he realized the problem that goes with it.

"Fuck! What if I gotta leak? I need to wait for an hour. This armor sucks." Nel grunted, he was pissed off.

"Gotta check out this place then. There must be a town or something nearby." Nel talked to himself out loud.

Nel started to move forward one direction. Thinking that if he walked straight eventually he might meet someone. If he's lucky he might stumble upon a town.

But what if this is set in the stone age?

"I see, so that means probably I can pick up to 400 mushrooms. But this is enough, I don't know what these are for anyway." Anthony tried to wipe out the glowy sap(?) on his pants to remove it. Before walking along the cave to try and find an exit.

He took out his phone and tried to check if there was a signal and also check what time it is. If it is not drained, he'd use it as a flashlight if it gets too dark in the cave.

Sho stood very still. He blinked several times taking in the sights, smells and feels of the place.

Oh my God! This is real! His senses were sharper than usual and he knew it was because of his choice in the weird menu. He also knew this was very real, incredible, unbelievable but real.

Sho started a quick sprint, feeling his lung stronger than they ever were. He restrained a cry of joy and amazement and stopped.

What was it again, Rabbit Ears! He mentally said the words picturing his hearing going everywhere in the forest and listened to see if anything happened.

Sharper senses made him notice that the tiny creatures, birds, and insects look a bit different than they were supposed to be back on Earth. Differences like an extra pair of wings for butterflies, birds that camouflage on trees, squirrels with two tails, trees with a bluish coloration. They all seem strange and at the same time familiar, as if Sho have been here before.

His hearing was amplified after using his newfound power. The cicadas song became louder. He could hear a person from the north and east. He could also hear two persons on the west. The sound of the river blocks his hearing of the south, the area where he came from. Further from the north he can hear the sound of footsteps.

After a few seconds, his hearing returned to normal.

OOC:

If you need a more detailed information. You can use a perception roll (D20+Awareness), specify which of the sounds you want to listen to intently. If you want to check on all of them, the DC is going to be higher.

Wow this is amazing! but... mmm can I do it again? Rabbit ears!

Sho concentrate first on the sound of the footsteps to the north. He tries to determine the distance, if there is any conversation and other details like the size of the groups, if they are wearing metal boots etc..

"Pervert?!" Dylan regretted summoning the dark fairy. What was he thinking? He thought the dark fairy would be a kind fairy that will take care of him but then after summoning his image of the dark fairy got easily destroyed. He wanted to retaliate and call her a cockroach but then he saw her face, and she looked just like Veronica. She's also a bitch just like his ex-girlfriend.

"That's rude, we just met. You haven't even introduced yourself. I'm Dylan by the way." Dylan said with a wink.

You walked straight one direction and noticed more how different this place was to where you came from. You did find a person with black hair and modern clothes about a hundred feet in front of you.

You found the way out of the cave. It was morning and in front of you was a vast forest with strange flora and fauna. Instead of the forest smell though, it smelled like dead rat. You found carcasses of dead animals lying on the floor nearby getting feasted on by flies half the size of your fist.

Sho

You're not sure how many or what, you just know that they are footsteps. The other sounds distract you from learning about what's ahead of you. However, you saw a man in red armor walking towards you.

"Hmph. You already know my name you pervert!" Veronica did not get affected by your charms. Either she's not in the mood or she really doesn't like you.

You can retry the check. You need to get a 15 this time. Get a 20 and you'll get more info.

Nel can understand that the man spoke in Japanese, what he couldn't understand is why he could understand it fluently now. This is true with Dylan as well, Veronica is speaking another language but he realize he can understand it. As if there was a program in their heads that translate the languages they speak into a common language.

You're all speaking Common in this world. Common, obviously, is the common language of this world. It's convenient that you do not have to bother learning a foreign language cause you felt like it was 'uploaded' in your heads.

The sound of a bell rang on everyone's head. Everyone learned the language [TRAVELER] and [COMMON].

Traveler is the language of all other world travelers, meaning you learned all the language on Earth. Common is the common language of this world.

Do I speak Japanese? Why do I suddenly know Japanese? Well, this is convenient.

"Hey, I don't but can you understand me?" Nel replied in English as he walked closer to where Sho was. It would be easy to fly towards him but wouldn't it look intimidating if he approached someone looking like a dragon?

The armored guy didn't look aggressive despite wearing a scary looking armor. Sho felt confident he could outrun most people in the forest now.

"I can understand you. I think we are speaking [TRAVELER]. Where are you from?"

The slow and simple conversation allowed Sho to keep trying to hear the incoming groups. Rabbits ears!

"Los Angeles." Nel approached Sho. He relaxed his guard, having someone else puts his mind at ease though he doesn't really need it cause he's got immunity to fear.

"I assume you got here through that bright white light. Any ideas where we are?" Nel asked. He thought that perhaps the other person know more about where they are than he does.

"I'm Nel by the way."

"I'm Sho, Yamasaki Sho. But yea, A bright white light then some strange menus and this forest. It's some sort of fantasy world with powers. I can hear 3 other people near, maybe travelers like us. The is also a bigger group coming from then north."

Sho's answer was a bit slow and absent-minded as he was concentrating on far away sounds.

They were not simply marching, the group are running. From someone/something or for someone/something? You are not sure but you can hear them try to catch their breath. You can separate the sound of 5 people moving towards your direction.

Without really waiting for Nel's confirmation, Sho take off in the duo's direction. Better be safe, Rabbit ears!, if something run after them i wanna hear it.

After 10+ running steps, Sho look at a clear spot in front of him and try his other ability.
Better be prepared too, Bunny hop!

"Gruesome." Anthony, looked at the carcasses and big flies with disgust. He tried his best to prevent himself from puking. If not a nest, perhaps a dumping place for one carnivorous beast. Eitherway, Anthony thought he should stay away from the large flies. He moved the opposite direction away from the cave and from it.

"Should I shout for help? May not be a good idea if we're on some carnivorous beast territory. Better I go silent and search for other people instead." He continued walking while being wary of his surroundings for signs of beasts or people.

"Still a bitch." Dylan mumbles. He folded his arms, disappointed that even in another world, Veronica didn't change. He thought she'd be head over heels in love with him like what usually happens but it turned out his expectations were wrong.

"Do you know where Tony is?" Dylan asked Veronica. The light came from the fridge so there was a high chance that Tony is also in this place. Dylan thought.

On the tenth step Sho would teleport but it felt more like falling in a hole. He'd disappear and 'fall' on a spot he chooses before running forward again.

You arrive at an area in the forest where you can see a small cabin. Sho can hear the voice of a man and young lady talking or arguing. The house looks old and dilapidated as if it has been abandoned for a very long time.

"Who's Tony?" Veronica doesn't seem to know anything about Tony but she knows very well that she hates you. From the window you can see two people arrive, one of them is wearing a red armor.

Anthony

You sneak in the forest, hiding on trees and bushes. A moment of walking later, you hear footsteps, running. Then a moment later you saw a young girl, running, being chased by monsters(?). The creatures are blue skinned, humanoid like with big heads and shark like teeth.

Sho almost tripped getting back his footing after the "jump". Wow... that is ... something. Right now its barely faster than running, but it holds potential.

Sho slows to a walk when he sees the cabin and hear the 2 people arguing. She sounds pretty young for a Traveller... Well, not to I know much about it.

A simple question should clear that up. (in [traveller])"Hey, what country are you from?"

He also keep an ear out for what is happening with the group Rabbit ears!

Japanese. When did I learn Japanese? That was not a question he needed to answer as he recall about the [TRAVELER] language that pinged earlier. Dylan went out of the old cabin.

"Germany. How about you two?" Dylan answered (in English).

"By the way I'm Dylan and this here is Veronica, my e... fairy." He introduced himself and his summon to the Japanese man and the armored guy. Is he a summon too?

Nel pants. Following a teleporting man was harder than it seem. He could fly but he did not, he was cautious about it. One it might scare other creatures, two others will see him easily. People might think of him as a monster.

A cabin in the forest, that's a good sign. Houses mean civilization. Nel took a moment to catch his breath.

"Nel. From LA." He introduced himself.

A fairy? So this setting has that too.

What can a man like Tony do against monster like creatures? Anthony hesitates for a moment as he decide if he should save the girl or not.

If I do nothing, that girl will be eaten by these freaks. Screw it Tony Wong, let's save that girl.

Anthony ran behind the group and casts Area Delay! as he shout "Stop!" commanding the monsters to halt their chase.

Now what, Tony?

Time slowed down inside the 30ft area of effect of Anthony's spell. The trees move slower and the falling leaves too moved as if it was falling on water. Two of the five monsters were completely halted, one was slowed down, while the other two were not affected but still stopped their chase.

"Grrrrr?" They were caught surprised. The girl looked back at the small horde chasing after her.

She's a brown haired young lady with freckles on her face wearing a white shirt, pants, and belts. She draws an arrow from a quiver and shoots one of the five monsters on the leg.

"Thanks for helping out." She says to Anthony as the monster struck by an arrow cries in pain.

The monster unaffected by Anthony's spell moved and attacked the lady with his claws. The young lady gracefully dodged the attack. The monster dazed by your spell only moved slowly, as if running on water, towards you.

Nel, Sho, Dylan and Veronica

"I'm Veronica. Summoned from the land of Faeries." The dark fairy introduced herself quite friendlier than when she talks with Dylan.

As they talk and give introductions, Sho can hear that the running steps stopped. He hears a man yell 'Stop' and a monster(?) cry.

OOC:

The distance of the commotion is around 100 ft from Sho. He can get there in around 1 and a half rounds. The others would need around three rounds by running.

This is bad. One hit from those claw and I'm dead.

"What are these... creatures?" Anthony asks the lady archer as he move to a position where his Time magic can affect most enemies without affecting the young lady. Probably on a position where he can distance himself from the approaching monster.

"Halt you fools." He mumbles to himself as he cast another Area Delay spell.

You were able to distance yourself but in your new position you couldn't target the one monster that attacked the archer. Are you planning to hold these monsters until the archer lady takes them all down? You were able to halt two enemies movement with your time magic but you were unable to hold the two others.

"Blue Goblins, are you not from around here?" The archer replies.

One of the monsters tried to bite you but you were lucky enough that it missed its attack. The other one you failed to hold tried to attack the archer with a downward slash from its claw. It failed as well. The other one, the one who wasn't in your spells area of effect also tried to attack the young lady but failed. The lady archer seem to handle herself well in battle.

She tried to shoot an arrow again but missed.

"Damnit!" She cursed in [COMMON].

Dylan and Nel are just waiting for Sho.

Anthony repositions himself again so that the lady wouldn't get affected by his time magic. If he learned sooner that this dimension has monsters, he would've invested more on this time magic thing. What good is being smart if you're eaten by goblins, right?

"Definitely not from around here." He answers the young lady as he prepares to cast Area Delay again. Only this time he thought he'd wait for an enemy to approach before casting the spell.

"Can we defeat all of them or should we run?" Tony would ask.

OOC:

Can I cast the Area delay as a reaction to 'when an enemy approaches him within ~10ft'? If not he'd just cast the spell as usual :)

Sho did not really wait an answer. He start running and blinking in the direction of the fight.

Sho dashes of towards the direction of an on going commotion. He jumps inside a hole and falls on another space quickly, it took him no time to reach the place where he met Nel earlier. On the location, Sho sees two people fighting off a group of five blue humanoids with shark like teeth. One of the two looks like a [TRAVELER] and is somehow making the monsters stop in their places while the other one is a young lady archer.

The monsters are preoccupied and are not aware of Sho's presence.

Is it possible to use AGI as melee defense or is it only for ranged?

Sho will pick up a decent sized rock and throw it at the closest open monster. After throwing, he'll shout in [COMMON]: "Right here team! There's only a few of them!"

Battle

Three Goblins tried to gang up on Anthony but they were slowed down by the Time magic cast by Anthony. The middle one was slowed down severely, it appears like he stopped all movements and is frozen in place. The one with an arrow on the knee and the other one were also slowed. Anthony couldn't slow down the one closest to the archer.

The one with the arrow on the knee continue its approach but due to it being slowed down, it could not attack you effectively when it flailed its arms. Anthony easily dodged it.

"Keep holding them, I'll snipe their heads off." The young lady answered as she nock an arrow and shoot the frozen goblin down. The arrow pierced through its neck but the goblin won't fall or react. It just stayed frozen in a running position. Even its blood would only slo-mo splatter.

The goblins surrounding the young lady tried to attack her. She successfully dodge one goblin's bite attack but didn't make it in time to dodge a claw attack. Good thing it only managed to cut her clothes.

"How dare...?" She muttered as she try to cover the cut off part of her clothes.

A stone was thrown towards the enemy, reinforcements?

Anthony was surprised to see that someone came to aid them in their fight. One more ally meant that they could deal with the goblins much faster than with just archer lady. Not that the lady archer is incapable, fact is she's a good shot though he's not yet sure if the goblin trapped inside his spell is still alive or dead. Six seconds will be over and he need to cast his spell again to hold the remaining enemies. Time magic is really useful this time eh?

Anthony remains in place as he cast again another Area Delay spell.

"I can slow down time within 30 ft. away from me but I cannot guarantee that it won't affect you." He told the archer lady and their hidden ally. Hopefully that helps in their strategy. Hopefully the goblins don't understand common.

"Ever in a rush eh?" He says as Sho rushes off towards a fight he's not aware of. But he did detect, Dylan and Veronica, there's no reason to doubt his abilities right now.

"Now how do I use Dragon Wings? Should I just shout: Dragon Wings!" He'd use his power to conjure up wings that would allow him to fly. Hopefully that would make travelling towards the location faster.

Nel plans to fly low, just a little above the trees. He'd fly and go after Sho to see what the Japanese guy was on a rush about.

Nel grew red scaly dragon wings. One wing's the size of his whole body. Nel flies to Sho's direction.

"Ugh." Veronica rolls her eyes but still sat on Dylans head and held on Dylan's hair as dylan ran through the forest following Nel and Sho.

"Why don't you have wings or teleportation like those guys. Useless. Ugh." Veronica says as he pull Dylan's hair.

Nel found the commotion Sho was talking about. Monsters versus a man and an archer. Sho's throwing stones at the goblins.

The goblin with an arrow on the neck fell on the ground when Anthony's magic ended. Anthony casts his Time Magic but his spell could only affect the dazed goblin Sho threw a rock at earlier. The other goblins unaffected by his spell lunged at him. Attacking him with their claws. One goblin tore a piece of his shirt with its sharp claws while the other successfully wounded him on the side. Anthony bleeds, getting clawed by a blue goblin is painful.

OOC:

Anthony is dazed for one turn, has 2 degrees of failed toughness checks, gets -2 toughness and is bleeding.

"That's gonna hurt." The lady says as she shoot another arrow on the goblin with an arrow on its knee, one of the two goblins that attacked Anthony.

The lady's arrow landed on the goblin's back causing it to cry in pain. "Gueeeee!"

Sho's rock landed on the head of the goblin near him knocking it unconscious making it fall down the ground slowly.

The goblin near the young lady attacked her with a bite on her left leg. The archer got wounded.

This is fun. Nel thought as he fly and feel the wind hit his face. When he arrived, he saw the goblins ganging up on one man who looked like a [TRAVELER]. There was no point in thinking twice, he had to save the guy who looked wounded.

"Don't worry kid, I got this." Nel charges and attacks one of the two goblins attacking the man.

"Hiyaaaaa!!!" He yells his own version of a battle cry.

As far as initiatives go I'll base on arrival. 1. Anthony, 2. Goblins, 3. Young Lady, 4. Sho, 5. Nel, 6.Dylan and Veronica. I'll treat that damage roll as the goblin's toughness check DC 16 since you have 1 STR.

Nel charges, diving towards the blue goblin with a strong punch that caught it off guard. The punch landed on its face causing it to step back and get staggered. The goblin's face bleeds.

Veronica and Dylan arrives behind Sho, they can see the goblins and the fight that was going on.

Ok, the DC for that is 10 so you get one degree of failure with a result of 8.

Sho ran to rescue Anthony with his ability to teleport. He ran and with a sharp turn lifted up Anthony. He almost tripped, thankfully he was saved by a sparkle on his right leg. Sho doesn't know how but somehow the 'sparkle' prevented him losing balance and tripping as he run and lift Anthony.

However, when they 'fell' in the rabbit hole of Sho's teleportation ability. Sho wasn't able to land properly. Both him and Anthony fell on the ground in a prone position. Thankfully Sho did not break his leg.

Anthony's unable to push down his target before Sho moved him to another location.

The goblins attacked Nel with its claws and although they were able to hit him, their attacks couldn't penetrate his armor. The other goblin attacked the young lady with another bite but this time it missed its target.

Nel's kick was strong enough to knock a blue goblin out cold.

The young lady took the opportunity to counter the goblin that bit her with an arrow aimed at the goblin's head. It pierced through its skull and killed the goblin instantly.

Veronica rolled her eyes but still followed Dylan's command. "I'll wrap this up." Veronica whispers before chanting some words that sounded like gibberish. Black shadows converge to where the staggered gobblin was and then it formed a dark sphere that devoured the goblin whole. The darkness melted and the goblin was gone, devoured inside the dark dimension. The group hears the last of its ghostly cries echo in the forest.

"This ain't the last of the blue goblin horde." The young lady says to your group.

"Their captain still lurks in this forest, and until that menace is dealt with Bezelbebe forest will remain dangerous." The lady speaks as she check on the blue goblins the group has slain.

"Wow." Dylan was awestruck by what his summon Veronica can do. He thought she'd just use dark magic to blind his enemies but the idea that she'd send the goblin somewhere else with that sinister spell never crossed his mind.

"So these are called blue goblins." Nel inspected the blue goblins. Normally he'd be too afraid to approach monsters but after gaining the 'fearless' advantage he's not bothered by their appearances at all.

"A goblin captain eh? Where do you find that?" Nel asks the young lady as he 'turn off' his dragon wings.

"By the way who are you? I'm Nel and these are..." Nel looks at his allies whose names he couldn't really easily recall. "lost people, like me."

It is painful but it'll heal, Anthony tried his best not to cry. He wasn't used to this hero gig but all in all he was impressed by what he could do.

"I'm fine." Clearly not. "Thanks for moving me." He'd tell Sho as he dust off his pants and check on his wounds. How do you treat wounds? Anthony took off his shirt to use as makeshift bandage for the wounds.

Someone's calling his nickname. Tony's memories got 'cleaned' at the cave. He couldn't really recall anyone. "Hey, Sorry, I don't know you." Anthony thought it was best for him to be honest than pretend he knows the guy.

A lot happened in a few seconds and Sho missed most of it laying on the ground with a wounded stranger on top of him. Seemed his plans, if we can call it a plan worked. He wasn't sure if it at been worth almost breaking his leg for since there didn't seemed to be any monsters left somehow.

Sho got up and dusted himself too. He gave a look at Tony's wound but sadly treatment wasn't on his skill in that weird white room. He still helped as he could to tie up the makeshift bandage.

Having caught his breath, he finally introduced himself and paid more attention to the group.

[COMMON] "Hello everyone, i'm Sho, Yamazaki Sho from Japan. So, you say there is a horde of those, how many are we talking about?

Sho looked at the lady archer more closely. Mmm, first lady in a strange world, I wonder if this adventure has the Harem tag hehe.

"North of here is where the blue goblins are setting up camp. I've hunted a few with my group but got separated from them when I got discovered by those goblins. Looking at their camp I'd say we've dwindled their group down to twenty and my allies might've defeated some of them as well." The lady says while tying her hair back in a ponytail.

"My name's Mica, Mica Lexfort." She introduced herself before taking some green cube like berries from her bag and handing them to Tony.

"Cure Berries, yuck!" Veronica reacts.

"This should help with the pain and the bleeding. They taste bad but it should do the trick for now." Mica says with a smile before checking on her bow. She did routine maintenance adjusting the bowstring.

A while longer a message pinged in your heads.

If you concentrate enough the message gets clearer as if information about power points and cards are being uploaded in your head. You'll understand that you can use 2 points to raise an ability, you can use 1 point to get 2 skill points you can use on any skill available to you to a maximum of 5, you can also use the points to raise your power ranks as well.

As for cards, you can use one card to gain a random power or advantage, two cards to alter a power, three cards to design a specific power you have an affinity for or to gain a specific advantage. You still need power points to raise them to 1, otherwise you'll just be unlocking them.

OOC:

Discussion on how you'd use these points should be done at the Power Workshop. If you want to use the card to gain random power, feel free to draw cards.

"I certainly will, my lady" Sho couldn't help but giggle a bit after saying that. He was feeling pretty heroic and this could turn out to be a lot of fun. He wasn't quite sure about killing people (are monster people?) but he also figured there was not really a prison for goblin hordes near here.

Mica smiles, delighted by the prospect of four gentlemen helping her conquer her foe.

"I don't have a spare bow sorry, I don't even know if I have enough arrows for this." If you check her quiver, you can observe that she only has about 10 arrows left. That is including the arrows she took back from the enemies she shot earlier.

"If this goes well, I'll see to it that your group gets rewarded." Mica says.

You used up your power points, covertly if you did such precautions in trying not to giggle at the aspect of 'improving yourselves' or getting 'powers'. You felt the changes in your body and information about your powers got uploaded in your head.

Anthony can check that a new item was uploaded in his inventory. It's the 'Chrono Staff' and strangely it doesn't occupy any space in your inventory but you know it is there and you can summon it. Anthony's slippers changed to red shoes with an hour-glass like pattern painted on the sides.

Nel's armor got a slight upgrade when it comes to its appearance, the patterns in the armor now have some gold details.

"Aw..." Can't celebrate about the new powers yet while being injured. Thankfully, he learned the treatment skill and also Mica offered some sort of medicinal berry. Perhaps he can use those to at least stop the bleeding and get his wounds to heal faster.

"I want to help but not sure how much I'll be able to aid you with these injuries." He forced a smile as he check on his wound and used the skill that he learned to 'treat' it. Anthony would also eat the Cure Berry.

I wonder what this tastes like.

He placed the cube shaped berry in his mouth, bit it, chews it, and swallows it.

A lot has happened that day, he found his friend but his friend seem to not know him and apart from that there are these creepy blue goblins and a lady saying these minions have a mean boss. There's a lot to process and Dylan had to organize his thoughts before he goes crazy.

Dylan shakes his head. He convinces himself that he'd deal with Tony's amnesia later. For now, Tony's wounded and they are going after the blue goblin captain.

"I'm Dylan, this is my summon Veronica and this guy is Tony, Anthony Wong." He points and introduces him and those he know to Sho, Mica, and Nel before looking at Veronica's direction.

"Anything you can do for my friend?" He whispers.

"Sweet Armor." Nel reacts as he check on his armor upgrades. It's got the option to be more comfortable on cold climates but he thought he'd skip that for now and instead took on those that would help them in a fight. He was lost in a day dream for a while before paying attention back to reality.

The wound's gonna get infected if you do not clean it, that's what your mind tells you. The die shaped berry you ate tasted like bitter medicine mixed with soil and some malic acid. Its gummy texture didn't help with its already horrendous taste. But somehow you understood that these berries are not called Cure berries for nothing. It helps with the production of antibodies that help prevent infection and also helps one recover from injuries faster. Its not a cure-all though, snacking on too much of these will lessen its effect.

Its your first time so it worked well. The bleeding somehow stopped and some of the pain went away.

Anthony recovers from injury. He's back at 0/4.

Veronica ignores Dylans plea as she sat on a tree stem with legs crossed and arms folded.

"We can rest for a while before heading there." Mica tells Anthony.

"Disgusting.." It was hard to swallow but he had to swallow it. There's still pain but it is way better than the risk of getting a wound infected by microbes and other things stuck on those goblin's claws. Anthony uses his clothes as bandage.

Clothes.. he'll need a change of clothes soon, he thought but as of the moment the more pressing matter for the group was the presence of the goblin captain. They will need weapon and supplies. There's a ton to do but for the moment Anthony needed to rest. He sat down under the shade of a tree and closed his eyes. He scans on his abilities and powers to get a better grasp on them.

Who's Dylan? He seem to know me.

Tony's thoughts are clouded by a lot of questions but he remain silent in his corner, letting the others decide their next course of action.

After some time flying northwards, Nel found the goblin camp where blue goblins flock. They built tents from sticks and animal hide and made a large bonfire. Flying towards where he is, Nel did not find any game but did find a few dead blue goblins here and there. Mica's hit and run strategy worked well.

There are no signs of an on going battle up ahead but the goblin count is fewer than what Mica predicted.

As Veronica and Anthony rests, Mica chats with the boys.

"You don't know anything about Bezelbebe forest? But this is a forest in a peninsula, did you come here by boat?" Mica kneels on one leg and draws a map using an arrow on the ground. She drew a peninsula and small house like boxes on the land that connects the peninsula to a larger land mass and drew triangles surrounding the Peninsula.

"Did you not pass Newtown Village before you enter this forest?" Mica asks as she point at the house like drawing on her map.

Mica stands then looks at Sho. "We separated on different directions. Two went east, Two went west, and I went south with..." She sighs and frowns.

"I'm sure the other can fend themselves. Maki's just unlucky to be caught by that blue goblin captain." Mica says. Whatever happened to Maki?

From the branch where he is, Nel can see a man in half plate armor knocked out cold tied up with vines on a tree.

"...sorry kid. Can't save you right now." Nel recalls that the lady fought with others and the others must have gone to another direction. He looks towards the east and then towards the west, deciding where he should scout next.

"I'll check east first then." Nel flies and continues scouting, he went towards the goblin camp's eastern side. He hides from blue goblins while flying just above trees.

Mica looked dumbfounded when you told her.

"I see. Well, Bezelbebe is a forest under the protection of Newtown. Lots of rare wild monsters live here but it shouldn't be dangerous as most of them are not hostile against humans." Mica tells you.

"The blue goblins are not native to this place, someone must've smuggled those here." She added.

"As for Maki, well I'm not sure if he's still alive."

So, time magic, bunny hops, flying, cure berries and not a blink. Inter dimensional or intercontinental travel, however, is too much. So magic seems common in limited forms. I'm gonna have to figure out some of the common sources of magic here if I need to explain my powers at some point.

Nel flies towards the eastern area and saw some goblins and goblin bodies here and there along the way. He saw a fight happening ahead. Two humans are surrounded by goblins, one of the goblins is riding what looks like a wolf.

Although Nel tried to be stealthy in his approach, his large wings easily gave his location above the trees. He hears a booming sound and then a stone cannon ball the size of a fist came flying towards him. It hit him at the back. Thanks to Nel's armor, he's not that hurt much but his armor did take some damage.

OOC:

Nel's armor loses 1 toughness, Repairable by means of magic when he removes his armor.

Nel did not fall down from that attack. Behind him he can see the culprit, a blue goblin mage charging up another stone cannon spell.

With the Haste shoes on, Sho was able to move faster than he did earlier but it was hard to maintain the use [Rabbit Ears] while doing so. His senses are dulled while he moves as well. He was able to throw the stone a bit better than he did earlier during the fight with blue goblins.

Sho can not concentrate on his Rabbit ears skill when he uses the free move action using the haste shoes.

Sho make his way speedily toward the north then turn west once he get the camp in his rabbit ears range (or vision if he sees it better). He constantly uses Rabbit Ears and Bunny Hop to navigate the forest quickly and safely.

You saw the goblins Mica defeated along the way when she was running.
Moving forward you saw the goblins camp and saw the unconscious human tied to a tree. You can hear of goblins conversing in "Guuu" and "Gueee" in the camp and in their tents. You're not sure how many they are but you can estimate that there's more than ten goblins in there.

You heard Nel and some goblin struggling from the eastern area. As you move along the west area, you saw a bunch of goblins fighting two women. One dressed in garish revealing clothes and the other is a dagger wielding lady in dark clothes.

They are surrounded by blue goblins and are trying their best to dodge their attacks. The blue goblins and the ladies are not aware of your presence.

Throwing distance for stones is Rank-1 + STR, reduction on rank depends on size of object to a minimum of -1. So in your case, the throw distance is 30 ft.

Number of goblins you can see is 7.

Some goblins have a stone in their hand.

Sho is around 100 ft. away.

Sho jumps into action as he sees the scenes. He goes all in with his power as he uses a surge of adrenaline and heroism to mount a rescue!

As he activate Lapin Mirage, he start giggling and laughing as his intelligence lowers and he start fighting. He instant run forward with the haste shoes while at the same time pulling out a stone and throwing it as hard as he could at a unsuspecting goblin.

"Glowhearts are edible and yummy." The fairy grabs the glowheart mushroom quickly off Anthony's hand and takes a bite off of it. Veronica seem to enjoy the snack.

"You shouldn't eat though. Your stomach will feel really bad if you do." Veronica tells Anthony. She smiles, one thing her summoner Dylan wouldn't see.

"We should move soon too. The sooner we can finish those goblins the sooner we can leave this forest." Mica says with a worried expression in her face.

"Soon as your friend can walk, let's move towards the goblin camp." Mica points and stares at the direction they are supposed to go to.

Anthony nods as a thank you gesture for the information Veronica shared to him.

"I picked a lot of those in the cave where I 'appeared'." Anthony tells Veronica before getting up.

"I think I've rested enough. Let's go check out the goblin camp." Anthony tells Dylan and Mica.

He looked at his feet without shoes. Walking on foot in a forest he doesn't know anything about seem like a bad idea, he'd ignore the thought for now.

"Ugh!I am not YOUR fairy. Hmph!" Veronica says as she roll her eye and fold her arms again.

Mica approaches Tony. "Don't push yourself, stay at the back if it gets dangerous." She says.

The party walked along the forest, with Dylan flying over the trees to scout and warn the group of any danger. Along the way, they found Mica's earlier kills. Goblins lie dead along the way, You can count at least five. It took a while before the group found the goblin camp.

Mica suggest the group hide in the bushes as they check what's going on at the goblin camp. From where you are you can see a number of tents, a number of goblins going on with their lives, and a campfire.

"We should wait for the others and attack together." Mica suggests.

"Clock's ticking, I'm outta here in an hour." Veronica replies to Mica. Counting the time from when she was summoned, Dylan can estimate that 30 minutes have already passed.

"We'll be decimated by the goblin horde if we attack." Mica tells you.

From the bushes, Anthony couldn't see much aside from tents.

From above the trees, Dylan can see the whole goblin encampment. There's the captive tied on a tree on the north eastern part of the camp. There's the big tent in the northern part, and around twenty smaller tents scattered all over the crudely fenced encampment with the bonfire as the center.

There are a few goblins here and there going on about with their goblin stuff.

They have two guards stationed at the gates located on the south, the east, and the west part of the camp. While Dylan can not count the exact number of goblins, he can estimate that aside from the guards there are around 10 other goblins in the camp.

As for the goblin captain. You're not sure where he is.

"Do you have a suggestion?" Mica asks Tony.

"Ok. How about I go sneak in and rescue the guy in the camp while you distract the enemies?" Anthony says. Well sneaking in is not his forte but he did get the stealth skill from earlier. Hopefully that helps in this mission considering he's got no shoes and shirt.

Anthony would pick up large stones and store them in his dimensional bag, they might help him out later.

There's an area near the camp, an area you passed earlier, with high trees where you can set-up the ambush.

Once everyone's ready he'd ask Mica to help him set up some traps around the ambush location. Mostly grass knots but if Mica has tools to make better traps like trip wires or noose traps, then that's better. Then he'd offer to carry Mica up a tree.

Then he'd fly over the southern gate and taunt the goblins nearby to follow him.

"What's up you sad cretins!? Follow me and we're gonna have a par-tey!" Dylan laughs before flying away back towards the ambush spot making certain that the goblins are following him.

Magnus needed time to adjust to this body, he couldn't run as fast as he wanted at first and he almost lost his balance while just running. It takes time to get used to it. He tried jumping but he couldn't jump yet as high as he wanted, his body somehow felt heavy. Next thing he did was to flip. Although his body felt heavy, he managed to make a flip and not lose balance when he landed.

Magnus managed to run about half a kilometer from where he appeared. Here he can see what looks like small tents made of sticks and animal hide. The tents are surrounded by crude fences made of sticks pierced through the ground and some vines. There's also a gate. There are no animals or people Magnus can see from where he is standing other than strange birds and insects.

Magnus’ face stayed neutral as he surveyed the village. He took note of any greenery around the huts, he tries to make out any movement or obvious signs of danger as he inches closer. He figures he blends in better than most to the woods, so stays close to trees and brush as he nears the village. Thankful for his connection to nature, he eventually reaches out to see what the flora can tell him of this village.

His footsteps were loud, he stepped on a couple of branches that gave away his location easily... fortunately no one's around to notice the woodkin move except for the tiny critters and insects in the forest.

He moved closer to the encampment and from his perspective he can see a larger tent in the center. He can see no one but can hear a group of creatures making sounds as if they were conversing. When he used his forest sense, he felt weird about the goblin camp, a numb feeling. He can't feel plant life around the center of the encampment.

Also, he can feel someone's steps and someone resting its back on a tree from the area to the left of him.

He winces every time he snaps a branch or rustles some brush. He’s going to have to work on that. Two creatures were close by. He would find them. Maybe they were Woodkin too. He makes his way towards whatever leans against the tree. He considers shifting form briefly then decides to meet them in his natural form.

He almost walks into a tree when the message pops before his face...well apparently the game wants him to best a fella named Guelag. Maybe he could improve some of his abilities...his mind trails away to what goblins could look like, absentmindedly he finally nears the figure resting on the tree.

The elf closed his eyes as you approach. It's as if he's forcing himself not to look at you.

"Ge-Get away... from... that G-Goblin!" He warns as you check on his wounds. You notice that the man doesn't have anything else other than his pants on. You yourself don't have that.

Magnus can assess that the elf's bruised and wounded all over its body from getting beaten and clawed. The man's weakened and is in no form to fight or even move. Magnus has no way of treating the man's wounds but looking around he did find something. Information about plants 'enter' his head.

PAINGONE GRASS
Grass that has pain relieving properties.

Magnus knows that this grass can be chewed to provide minimal pain relieving effects. It's a common ingredient for pain relieving medicine. Magnus found a small cluster of the purple-green grass that grows under bushes. Another interesting plant is the fungi that grows under a nearby tree.

TRANQUILSHROOM
This mushrooms can make one fall asleep.

You understand that these white mushrooms with fuzzy caps can be ingested to help one or force one to fall asleep. Other than those two, you do not understand the properties of other plants in the area.

Gaining power points is always welcome. After investing points on his chrono staff, Tony smirks after seeing the new spell he learned. If he had gotten this spell sooner, sneaking earlier would've been a lot easier.

"There's a long list of rules about this and I definitely wouldn't want to meet that time demon." Tony frowns as he check the amount of time he has in time stop.

"I have to make this quick." Tony moves to where the goblins are and checks the number of goblins and investigate their capabilities. He'd also investigate the goblin captain, pick up clues on what he looks like or if he's carrying any weapon. He'd also check the area. Memorize details as much as possible, good thing he's got eidetic memory.

Afterwards he'd go to where Dylan and Mica are, he can share is intel then they can decide if it is best to heed Maki's warning or complete the mission.

Nel flies full speed ahead towards the goblin encampment.

"The mission sounds simple but if what that memory petal says is true then I should be careful about that goblin captain." Nel tells himself.

"I know what I have to do." Nel says.

Once close enough. Nel pauses, flies in place for a few seconds before charging towards the goblin encampment. From above, he'd use a cold Dragon's Breath to hopefully destroy the central tent and hopefully the goblin captain who may be in it.

Magnus nods in concern and understanding. "The Goblin captain and his minions are who hurt you? I must certainly find and destroy them now. Give me a moment, and I will return with something for your wounds." Magnus moves off to collect the mushroom and grass. Once he gathered the two he would make a small lozenge/pill by wrapping the grass tightly around a broken apart mushroom or two. He figures it will release the tranquilshrooms abilities more slowly, allowing the man to rest and find relief from his pain.

He returns with the large multivitamin sized pill made of grass and mushrooms. "Here friend Elf. This will ease your pain."

He sits with the elf for just a bit longer and thinks hard about goblins. What were their skills and how dangerous were they. He wondered if this world gave him some innate knowledge or if what he remembered would be all Tolkien and D&D.

Sho tinkered a moment with his menu. In his current state, he could not give it much thought, but he was feeling lucky and wanting a better weapon, so that's what he got.

After that, he cast Rabbit ears to get a better sense of what is happening and jumps toward Mika's position.

(Tony) Investigating the goblin encampment in stop time, Tony found the goblins grouped up in threes in front of the tent. Three groups of three, with each group having a goblin leader wearing hide armor and carrying an axe. The two goblins with the leader seem to be wearing hoods. One goblin stands in front of the goblins and he's bigger than the others. It carries a large axe and it has tribal tattoos all over its body. You did not gather much about the area and appeared by the southern gate of the encampment where you found Sho and Dylan.

(Sho) You sensed a group of goblins talking in a language you can not understand. One of them seem to be relaying commands. You also hear the conversation between someone and a weakened man north of you. Then you made your way to the southern parth where you met with Dylan and Tony.

(Dylan) Your group went marching north, neither Veronica nor Mica went against your plan yet they both looked pissed off. Sho 'fell' from out of nowhere in front of you. You saw Tony get out of a goblin tent.

"You're safe! Where's Maki? Did you find Shana and Ara?" Mica asks Tony and Sho.

Then you heard the sound of crackling ice...

(Nel)You flew above the goblin encampment. You used Dragon's Breath. A magic circle appeared in front of you and then cold fog like smoke rushed out of it. The sound of crackling ice can be heard when the 'breath' touched the ground. It damaged the tents as well as some goblins. You hear the goblin cries but they won't break their formation. You saw the big goblin look at you with its fierce eyes. It was unaffected by your breath attack.

OOC:

Everyone can see Nel flying above the large tent and saw his icy breath.

(Magnus), you had to force the elf to take the 'medicine' that you made. Maki forced himself to actually swallow it. He doesn't know what you used in your medicine. He coughs.

"Wha...t did you..." He did not get to finish his question as he doze off in an instant.

You tried to recall information about goblins...

Distracted by the sound of ice crackles he looked back to see what it was.

Nel!? His grip over the Chrono Staff tightens. He looks back at Mica.

"Maki's safe, I hid him. He said we should escape." Tony says with an anxious expression.

He can easily escape from this if he wanted to but he can't bring anyone with him.

"I saw those hooded and armored goblins and one who seem to be the boss. There are three groups of three armored goblins and they have axes." He shares the information he gathered with the others.

Dylan felt relieved that Tony is safe but annoyed that Nel charged in on his own. Dylan wondered how Tony pulled off the rescue.

"We can't escape right now, that's our key to power over there bro." Dylan says as he summon his shadow wings.

"I'm sure we'll be fine" He flies up.

Our best course of action is attack.

"Chill out." Nel checks out how the goblins are doing and they seem unfazed. The boss seem pissed too.

Nel intended to use his icy breath attack again. He hopes that even if that doesn't beat them at least their group can be weakened by it. He doesn't intend to be beaten like that guy Alf he fought with earlier.

The sounds of crackling ice brought his attention towards the camp and up into the sky. Interesting, flying dragon man. He seemed to be attacking the goblins. Maybe he was after the power points as well. Allies could be useful. He looked down to the sleeping elf. "Need to hide you"

He grunted and moved about to round up leaf litter and sticks...then piled them on and around the wounded man. "The Forest Provides!" He chuckles and moves towards where the dragon man had placed his icy breath. His slow walk would become a jog, then a run. Only slowing once he saw the goblins, or the other folks.

He needed a weapon, though he figures his wooden fists would likely cause serious damage to most creatures.

2) Do goblins have guard animals?
3) Are Goblins considered enemies of the forest/trees?

"Sho found lady. Lady waiting there." Sho point the general direction where the dancer is waiting.

Sho looks in the direction of Nel and the cracking sound.

"Oh! Red guy started. Sho need to squish some blueberries too. Tata!"

Sho run and hop toward the camp as fast as he arrived.

Hop to the edge of camp, hide and throws boomerang in a big S to get as many goblins as possible.

(Magnus) hid the elf's body with leaves and sticks. The breeze would sometimes blow off the leaves but otherwise the camouflage Magnus made was passable. Magnus ran naked in the forest and into the goblin village where the bout between the dragon warrior and the goblins are starting. Searching for items he can use, he found improvised axes, and wooden clubs. He found a long stick with a pointy end that would pass as an improvised short spear. He also found animal hide he can use as loin cloth to cover his private parts.

(Sho) Sho's boomerang made of solidified moonlight flew and struck one goblin in the shoulder but the other goblins were quick to react to avoid getting hit by the boomerang. He also saw the naked wood man that's searching for some things in the goblin encampment.

OOC:

On Aim, I'll say it applies to all.

(Nel) Nel's frigid breath covers the area in cold white mist. When the mist disappears, the goblins have changed their formation and the big goblin went missing. The icy breath seem ineffective this time as it only affected one of the goblin leaders who used its body to protects its allies.

The goblins started launching spells. They controlled the earth to build a wall on both sides and launched a barrage of spells at the flying dragon warrior. Launching clusters of soil and stone, hitting Nel a few times. Nel's armor took some damage.

OOC:

(Dylan) He can see a better view of the battle field while flying but did not see how or where the big goblin vanished to.

Veronica flew closer to Dylan. "Time is almost up. Finally!" She laughs.

Veronica will disappear after three turns.

(Tony) Mika is relieved to hear that Maki and the ladies were safe. She assume both Shana and Ara are safe.

"I don't have enough arrows but I'll cover you." Mica says to Tony.

It is around noon and his shadow should be below him. He'd position himself so that his shadow could reach as many enemies possible then he'd use his tentacles to attempt to grab as many goblins as his shadow tentacles can.

Oh! That's better than a stone! But where did the big baddy go? Rabbit ear!

Sho listen the battlefield for the sounds of the goblin captain. If he find him, he'll throw the boomerang at him and keep it homing around his position until it hit or he changes his mind.

Magnus stops only slightly to scoop up an axe and the makeshift spear. He didn’t have time to cloth himself, at least not based on the amount of violence erupting around him gave any indication to what was happening. He would turn his run into a charge and lower his shoulders slightly as he let the spear lead the way towards one of the boss type goblins. A good skewering should put him on the right foot to find Gueleg.

Roaring the naked Woodkin would explode from the village and past the others, looking to close the distance to melee his foes.

(Sho) couldn't target an enemy it can't see. The goblins surrounded themselves with an earth wall. Sho can not target the big goblin, but his hearing can sense its movement and breathing... underground!

He threw the moon-erang but it missed! The earth wall made it difficult for Sho to target the enemies.

OOC:

For Multiple target attack: Use multiple dice for targeting: (number of enemies)d20. I'll use the results in order.

(Nel) dives down an enemy and struck it with his sword. The goblin mage did not fall but it got wounded by Nel's blade. It cries in pain and looks at Nel with hatred in its eyes.

(Tony) casts Haste on Dylan making Dylan move faster.

The big goblin suddenly rises up the ground and attacked Sho from behind. The goblin grabs and lifts Sho.

OOC:

Sho needs to make a DC15 (dodge or str check) to resist or get out of the goblin's grasp as a standard action. Sho is restrained: immobile and vulnerable.

The goblin mages continue their attacks on Nel with soil blasts. A cluster of soil and rock hit his chest. The non mage goblins noticed Tony and Dylan and runs to the front line to defend the mages from attacks coming from them.

Mica shoots an arrow on one of the axe wielding goblins but her arrow missed.

"Five arrows left, huh. This is bad." Mica says to herself.

(Dylan) Dylan flies forward and summons black tentacles from his shadow and tried to bind his enemies. One of the shadow tentacles was unable to bind its target. Dylan tried to crush the bound enemies, two of them resisted while one was succesfully 'crushed' by it. (An axe goblin falls!)

Veronica casts a spell. A black circle appears beneath an axe wielding goblin. From it, dark hands rise and pull down on the goblin immobilizing it.

(Magnus) charges the goblin that attached Sho but the big goblin simply avoided the woodkin's attack.

"I've got no time for these minions. You deal with them Dylan." Tony says as he prepare his weapon and prepare his weapon. Nel flies full speed towards the big goblin.

(Sho) slips away but his boomerang misses its mark.

(Nel) flies toward big goblin but the goblin evades it! The big goblin counters with a kick at Nel's side. It was strong enough to damage both Nel and Nel's armor.

(Tony)'s time magic worked, incapacitating the nearest axe wielding goblin.

The enemies start attacking. The big goblin tries to hack the wood kin with its axe but its attack misses.

The axe goblins tries to get out of their bindings but all of them fail to shake Veronica's or Dylan's magic off. The mages started attacking with earth spells and poison spells. Dylan and Veronica avoided the attacks directed against them. But a poison spell debilitates Mica and an earth spell hits Tony.

Finding himself beside the big guy, Magnus activates hit Treeform and roots himself to the ground. He hopes he is close enough to the other goblins that this will all make plenty of sense. He lashes out with his spear again. "You will not escape me again creature!"

Dylan looks around. Tony and Mica were both hurt from the previous attack. He decides he needed to eliminate the goblins as fast as possible specially the mages.

"Y'all gonna pay for that you fools!"

Dylan loosens the tentacle's grasp and instead lashed out with his shadow tentacles on the goblin mages twice as he sing a song of gloom to darken the area.

Dylan saw a moving tree fighting the big goblin. He casts Lucky Star to support him.

"Damnit!" Tony got knocked by soil despite the cover.

"This is not going to well." He says when he checked that Mica's hit by the goblin mages attack as well.

Tony casts darkness which should prevent him from seeing the goblins inside the area of gloom so he'd stay in cover and attack with Time freeze any goblin who would attempt to go out of the area of effect and try to attack them.

Mica couldn't stop coughing. She's finding it hard to breathe from the goblin's poison. She falls to her knees and faints down on the ground.

(Dylan)'s tentacles lashed on the enemies hitting three of them. One of the three got hit twice. It was enough to severely wound one mage and make the two others fall. The lashing shadow tentacle cuts like a blade, goblins bleed.

Dylan's somber song again summoned the darkness in his area. Goblins may see in the dark but in this darkness Veronica can use her powers to summon nightmares.

Veronica's spell made two of the goblins sleep and the others terrified. Some were not affected by her spell though.

Meanwhile..

(Magnus)'s spear, with the subtle push of Dylan's lucky star, hit its mark. The spear pierces the goblin around the chest area. Goblin cries in pain, but it remains standing.

(Nel)'s sword dive made a deep cut on the goblin's leg.

(Sho)'s boomerang and stone throwing couldn't hit the big guy.

The big goblin swipes at both Nel and Magnus. Nel got hit by the axe attack damaging his armor and wounding him as well. Big goblin missed the woodking.

Only one cluster of soil and rock went flying out of the gloom to try to hit Dylan, but it missed.

Seeing a goblin trying to escape Dylan's gloom, (Tony) manages to stun it with his time freeze, making it move at a very slow pace.

"Time's up!" Veronica says. Shadows collect around her and she disappears.

With all other goblins mostly eliminated and incapacitated, Dylan thought...

"You can handle these Tony, I'll go support the others."

Dylan moves towards the others who are dealing with the big goblin. He uses the tentacles that emerge from his shadow to bind and hold down the big goblin.

Without Veronica, Mica, and Dylan, it's up to him to deal with the lone goblin mage. He could consider himself a mage as well so this one's a bout between two mages. He can not leave Mica and so it is up to him to Time Freeze the last Goblin mage.

(Dylan) binds the big blue goblin with his shadow tentacles and rendered it defenseless and immobile as four black tentacles bind its four limbs.

(Magnus) took the opportunity to stab the goblin with his spear. It pierced through the defenseless goblin's chest yet the blue goblin won't fall.

(Sho)'s boomerang finally hit the goblin in the head. A stone hits the goblin's face. They caused damage and made the blue goblin growl but still won't make it fall.

(Nel)'s slash made a deep diagonal cut across the goblins chest. The goblin spits out blood. It growls like a mad animal.

(Tony) can hear the growling after he slowed down the last goblin mage.

Brambles rose where the goblin minions were and two young ladies approach, a lady in garish clothes and another in a witch's costume.

"Mica!" Ara, one of the two ladies shout as she approach the incapacitated archer.

"I'll handle these goblins..." The witch lady says.

The big blue goblin starts laughing instead of crying in pain. Its voice can be heard all over. Then in an instant it cuts off its appendages like a lizard losing tail. Blood spills on the floor and the blue goblin started changing its form. Its hair grow longer, the wounds heal, it grows bigger, scales appear on its body, it grows long sharp fangs.

The big blue goblin turns into a large blue goblin snake, a snake as big as a three story building. It screams. You all tried to cover your ears from the sound. It made you fall down the ground. The earth quakes as the monster moves.

"What is that thing!" Lena asks before she fell on her knees and down the ground.

Your visions blur as you grow unconscious but you vaguely saw the arrival of others who fought with the monstrous goblin snake before you all blacked out.

In the darkness and silence you hear the familiar sound of a notification.

Defeat Guelag, the Blue Goblin Captain! [COMPLETE]

Then the darkness slowly turns into a vision, a dream of your life in earth, a special memory. Tony may not recall names and the faces are all a blur but the memory still felt special.

What happened? Am I dead? Nel groans, a while ago he was in a battle with a goblin that turned into a giant snake and now he's...

In the living room of his childhood home, playing a role playing video game with his brother. Nel's just watching his brother play.

I remember this day.

Nel can recall what day it was from the clothes he and his brother were wearing. Black suit and tie. It's after his father's wake, they just got home from the service. Nel and his brother can hear their mom crying at the kitchen as the two boys are leveling up their warrior named Rex. It's not their character that they were playing, it's their dad's.

Young Nel's sobbing on the sofa that afternoon and his brother tried his best to cheer him up.

"We gotta help Dad reach heaven." His brother told him.

Flashback to yesterday evening, at a seedy bar called Buddy's. Can't be too choosy on the gig, he needed money. Dylan remembers that he and his girlfriend Veronica had a fight that night, Veronica wanted Dylan to focus on other things other than music but Dylan wouldn't want to give up his passion.

All smiles in front of the few patrons of the bar, Dylan played the guitar and sang his piece. The set he played contained songs ranging from Beetles to Beach Boys. He sang one song for Veronica but before he could even finish his piece, Veronica left her table.

After finishing his set, he grabbed a beer and went looking for Veronica. Then outside Buddy's he saw Veronica and the manager kiss. That was when the world stopped for Dylan who almost dropped his beer.

He tried to confront the two but in front of them he just froze.

They explained, they've been dating for months. Dylan wanted to cry but he just left the two and went drinking on his own, replaying the song he wrote over and over on his phone.

Names, faces, they are all in a blur but in his dream he sees himself reading letters to a sick woman, sleeping in a hospital bed. Tony can see his younger self crying but could not understand why.

Moments later, a man enters the room. He couldn't hear the words but he knew what the man came for. He was there to take Tony away.

Tony punched the man in the face and ran out of the room and into the rooftop. Later a man that looked like Dylan came and talked to him. He understood that it was a friend telling him to stay strong and that the guy would always be there for him.

Sho is standing in a classroom. There are tears running down his young visage. In front of him is his old teacher, the first and only one who believed in him.

The teacher was telling him that his imagination was a gift. Nobody had ever told him something like that. He had been called slow, dim-witted, useless, a waste of space. Now, he was hearing that not only maybe he was gifted, but that he had the ability to enjoy freedom and happiness. As long as he could create those worlds in his mind, he could explore, travel and discover his own joy and sorrow. He could be important.

If he put that imagination down on paper, he could even share this freedom with other and be appreciated for it. This was the moment Sho knew he wanted to write.

Magnus...wakes to blackness, he remembered the fight, the goblins, the giant snake. All the others. Bunny dude, dragon man, a wizard? There were quite a few new faces. He stumbled about. He was lost, he felt lost. Then suddenly, he was in the barracks quad.

The place looked great, the guys had gone all out. Hell half the platoon was there. Wienerstien was proudly listing off the six bottles of various alcohols he had place in the half of giant water melon in front of him. He was spooning out a fruit and liquor slurry with a ladle, and just pouring it in everyone’s mouths. Kellz was trying to flirt with the new commo girl from the company across the street, pulling long drags on his black-n-mild. J.R. was at the grill arguing with Duttine, steaks only needed s&p, Duttine wanted to through on some curry and adobo. Khader and Hauss were arguing about Call of Duty. It was a good memory.

Magnus...no...in this place he was Theo.

Theo stepped out onto the red rocky gravel, the familiar crunch leading him to the others. He smiled. They had all come home this time. This BBQ was the night after they had touched ground stateside. Look at them all. He was young, they all were. Young and dumb. He soaked in the moment, remembering why he held onto this memory so hard. Shrek...Shrek was about to cause a ruckus. Almost on cue the large german blooded bastard made his way over to another group of people on the quad. It was the medics from two buildings over. He got loud, they got loud, everyone got loud. Theo lost himself in the moment and rushed over to the gathering crowd. Shrek was certain one of those damned medics had his iPod. They denied it. Words...more words...then fists.

A brawl broke out. That part is a haze. The next clear part is the whole lot of them. All 23 junior members of 1st Platoon sitting zip cuffed on the basketball court. The whole chain of command was coming to give them a talking to. He looked at his battered brothers and smiled again. They were always a team. He chuckled and bumped his shoulder into Shrek. Shrek bumped back...and they both cracked up laughing when they caught sight of Shrek’s iPod...it was the one still hooked up to the speakers. Still blaring music. The song as the memory fades. "Friends in Low Places"- Garth Brooks.

Rama appears in the forest clearing. He crouches, claws splayed wide to each side, and looks about. His blue skin seems almost black on the shade, his tail twitching with erratic movements. Seeing no immediate threat, he stands. His vest and leather pants accentuate his athletic build. His features are Hindu Indian but for the horns and fangs.

Looking at the people there, he sees they are sleeping, rather than dead. Their bodies and eyes twitch as if dreaming. What's a devil to do? Should I whisper dreams of sin and torment? Or build a fire.

He quietly gathers dry wood and piles it near, between them. When a large enough pile, he summons a fire sphere and coaxes it in between the wood, holding it until the fire catches.

Then he sits, waits.

(Rama) can see the bout between people and a monstrous snake going on from a distance. The scene around the goblin encampment's not as peaceful as it should be. There are other blue goblins in the vicinity but they would stay away from the devil. Rama tried out his power and conjured a sphere of flame in front of him. Then he made a bonfire.

How the people were faring in their fight against the monster is something the devil could not see. But he could hear a lot of screaming and roaring from a distance. Then... THUD!

A blunt object knocks the devil from behind. The world went dark.

"Why'd you have to knock that devil out, Roy?" Rama heard a voice ask someone before losing consciousness.

Apologies for hitting Rama's head so suddenly hehe. Need transition to another scene.

Dreams fade into darkness and when they opened their eyes they were not in the goblin encampment anymore...
