Also a fair amount of cheap whiskey. No idea on prices. A bottle of 'fine wine' is 10gp, so 5-10 gp a bottle?

So I ended up using some of the money to flesh out a tinkerer/artificer, including buying some raw materials. I have a bag of holding as one of my infusions so everything is basically in the bag of holding.
I ended up getting:
Breastplate, cloak of resistance, war pick, war hammer, 4 healing potions, I spent 10gp to build a tool belt, bedroll, soap, 2 person tent, silk rope, fishing tackle, mess kit, water skin, 200 bolts, chalk, 10lbs of copper, 10lbs of iron, 1lb of silver, 1lb of gold, book, ink x2, 10 ink pens, chalk, and 10sq feet of leather.
There's no price for leather but I looked it up and you can get 50square feet of leather on average from a regular cow. A cow costs 10gp so I figured that for 5gp would pay for tanning and stretching for 10 square feet. So I spent a total of 1,005gp and I have 95gp left.

Who knew an alcohol habit was expensive? (I did..). We'll grab three bottles. And realised I forgot I had find familiar, so will spend 10gp summoning them, in the form of a raven, and have 5 lots of supplies. (10+50gp). May just say they were waiting outside.

You could just buy a tankard of plenty as a common magical item, or an alchemy jug which is uncommon.

Me too, I like the concept and my character... So far out of the 5 games i'm in only 1 is running. I know its part of the game but I don't want to start a new one and then all of a sudden the games pick up again.

I'm willing to wait for Mr.Armitage too. These are difficult times for everyone and it is understandable to have unexpected delays from time to time. Mr.Armitage, if you read this, please don't feel bad about the delay. RL comes first and everyone will understand no matter what you decide to do. Keep well, man.

To everybody: I've been on Gamers Plane since 2016, and yeah this is definitely the norm. Forgive those that ghost on you - you'll like need to ghost out on somebody eventually. In the meantime keep joining games and watch for the players and GMs that are consistent and fun to play with, and just keep trying to join games with those people. And join games that have completely different people to scout out potential new friends too.

Try not to join too many games. I find if I am at the point where I think "Hmm, things are a bit slow, maybe I could take on one more game" then I am probably at max 😄. Eventually life will get busy and you'll be glad you're a little on the lighter side. But at the same time, keep lots of irons in the fire because games will come and go. For some people that means 3 games. For others that means 30. Find your limit and play within it 😉

This is a good game with a good crew and a good DM at the helm - fingers crossed!

I started on the site in 2017 and I had to take a break for a year and a half from the site due to some family health issues with my children. I had to leave a game that I was heavily invested in but real life threw me an anchor and I had to re-prioritize my life. That's why I'm happy to play again and willing to give a chance.

Yes, I've had to cut back my involvement from time to time as RL gets hairy. It happens.

Just wanted to drop in and apologize for disappearing. In the excitement of finding this community, I drastically overcommitted the number of games I jumped into playing, as well as running.
