"What, scared of your own kind?" Quaji sneers at Horgus as he gesture at Grimoire to stay beside him.

"Grimoire's an eidolon from the shadow plane if you must know, he's not a demon." Quaji looks around.

"We should get going." He suggests.

"Alright, that's enough now. Let's all get ahold of ourselves. The Riftwarden's expertise will certainly help us out when we come across any stragglers from the incursion."

"Horgus, as Quaji says, that creature is undeniably under his command. See the matching sigils? I may not be as well-versed in matters of the planes as my full-blooded cousin with the sight problem over there, but even I know an eidolon when I see one. Now, let's get the hell out of this place so we can take stock of the aftermath on the surface."
She gives a friendly, soft nudge to Horgus in the direction of the exit. "If you're going to lead us, then it's time to start, dear." Láriel was starting to lose her patience with this puppet; It might soon be time for the stick, rather than the carrot.

"Let's get going, your eminence!" Quaji sneers as he walk with Grimoire towards the two paths.

"Left or right?" He asks the appointed leader for the time being Horgus to decide where they should head to.

'Well err..' Horgus already seems to fumble, before puffing his chest up and pointing to the left tunnel. This one..

There's some huffing noise from Arvashinel, but the group follows. Only 10 feet doen the tunnel it begins to open up into a smaller cavern. This smaller cavern appears to have once served as a campsite or temporary lair. A torn bedroll lies next to the cold remains of a fire. A pile of bones, broken equipment, and rubble lies just past the campsite.

Elias stops as the group enters the small cavern. Helping Anevia over to the wall, he then draws his sword and moves towards the old campsite.

Looking around through the trash and rubble, Elias hopes to find something useful.

"So what happened here?" Quaji asks himself.

Quaji looks around the small cavern and looks for the next passageway.

As Elias pokes around he starts to spot some things that could be useful. Out of the rubble his digs up 3 candle stubs that you could still burn for a small bit, a torn bedroll, a bent fishook, 10 feet of very frayed rope, and a copper brooch depicting a bat perched on a mushroom. On closer inspection the bats eyes are small amethysts.

Quaji, the path continues on for anoth 10 of so feet, then you can see it opens up into a much larger cavern.

He shares what he sees with the group. That should help the self-appointed leader if they should proceed. Personally, Quaji doesn't trust the noble man but arguing will just slow them down and as much as everyone else, he does want to get out of the dark cave. It's not the darkness that he fears but the beings that lurks in the darkness.

"How should we proceed?" He asks.
