2. Rules as written (RAW), Sage advice, Errata, Facebook polls, laws of physics, the dice, alignments, and all other rules are merely ... guidelines.
3. The DM cheats (see rule #1)
4. The DM is not above taking bribes, although that will not affect the play or story, as that is sacrament and created by the players instead of the DM.
5. All players are to show the utmost respect of the rules and other players.
6. The world and the DM's story lines are meant as kindling for burning. Maztica will look even more beautiful as it burns.
7. Characters are heros. There are no evil characters, only poor role playing.
8. Bold play is rewarded. The success of the story relies on it. (see rule #4, especially the part about bribes)
9. Have fun. The Rule of Cool is always in effect, except when it is not. (see rule #2)
10. Only actions and statements in character count toward the story. No meta gaming, even when you are talking to each other out of forum. Talking to each other in character is encouraged, because you know, that’s funny!
11. The characters do not know what you know. That is exchange for the fact that the characters know things you don't (like magic and wielding two handed axes). That is, role play only the character, not yourself. Note the 8 WIS ability on your sheet, and even the 20 CHR.
12. Be honest with your self. Life is always a story about self knowledge.
Lucky 13. Failure and bad dice rolls are funny. Laugh along with everyone else. (see rule #12)
