Schulenburg Manor is a mid-sized estate near the western end of Amsterdam. Surrounded by a robust but basic wall, the exterior of the grounds are home to hedges, trees, and all manner of greenery, contrasting the sturdy stonework of the Manor House itself. Inside the open courtyard, a handful of men can be seen on guard, garbed in medium armour and armed with sword and spear.
While the main building houses the family, a slightly smaller building to the side serves as Schulenburg Arms, a modest but reputable store and armoury for various martial needs. In back of the shop is a smithing facility, replete with forge, bellows, and a myriad of other tools. It is altogether rare for the sounds of hammer and anvil to not fill the surrounding area, during the day and even sometimes at night.
