Hm... seems like you're using IE. Can I suggest a better browser, such as Firefox, Chrome or Opera? There are other choices too.

If you wanna stick with IE, or can't switch, I'll warn you right now, while most of this site should work with IE, stuff might come up buggy, so you might not enjoy it as much...

How do notes work on this forum? Does the name have to exactly match that of the intended recipient, including capitalization? Is it bound to Character names? Please help!

(note="EleventhDwarf")This is your note with round brackets(/note)

It has to match the username, not the character name. I never tried whether capitalization is important.

Also, don't use OOC tags inside notes. Everything after the end of the OOC tag will be visible to everyone.

Edit: Looks like GP automatically corrects wrong capitalization for usernames. Awesome

Just to be clear, do others see nothing then? What happens if you misspell a name...does anyone/everyone end up seeing it?

This is what it looks like when a note is addressed to someone that's not you.

[note=""]And this is what happens if you misspell a name[/note]

Edit: again, interesting. GP just completely removes the nonexisting name from the code 🤔

I see that notes were sent to you, but I do not have access to the contents of those notes.

Also, if you send notes to yourself, only you and the GM can see the contents.

I think the GM sees the notes regardless

Yeah, GM can see all notes and die rolls, even hidden ones.
