Anyone familiar with Mouse Guard?

I picked it up to read it over the ski week -- got about halfway through the CRB.

Looks like it's based on the Burning Wheel game system, which is new to me.

I have it and have read about as much as you have. I really like what I've read so far and would love to play/run a game sometime in the future if there's interest.

I'm interested since it's scaling down Epic to the palm of your hand. Plus I can have a reason to watch youtube videos of mice to know how to RP...

I'd be happy to take part -- or assuming I can finish the CRB and wrap my head around it all GM a one-shot to see if we like it.

Mouse guard is on my radar. I'm GMing quite a bit now but my Gamma World one-shot seems to have stalled out. I wouldn't mind this given the one-shot nature of missions from the Mouseguard.

I'm having a hard time working my way through the CRB and there are elements of the game which I think are great for PbP and others which feel very 'round-the-table to them. Not sure I'd GM this one out of the gate without a bunch more time to soak up the ruleset.

I'm all about GMing things with only preliminary knowledge. I'll setup a one-shot game soon. Just need to work on setting up FAQ and How To Forum threads with the rules for those that don't have access to the CRB.

My Gamma 5 one-shot is dead in the water as of now, I think two of the players went dormant. I should have the extra time to take on this one. I've really been itching to try it out as well. :)

Started transcribing some of the character setup stuff offline today. As well as all skill descriptions. A bit more here than I had remembered but I'm getting close to having all the materials up. Shouldn't need the CRB to play if people are interested, hoping to have enough up in the forum once I get this going.

I should have the rest transcribed "hopefully" tonight and be able to start the game either tonight or tomorrow night. We will all be starting as Tenderpaws, which will make more sense when we get into it.

Expect a slightly more lengthy character creation process as some people may be learning the game for the first time or playing for the first time (and I'll be a first time GM for this game). It's not such a bad process, just a lot of color and story around the mice and their circles that we need to come up with.

I'm excited to get this off the ground.

I was shooting for four PCs which is my normal go to but maybe I'll bump this one up to five or six. There seems to be plenty of interest. I just don't want to get too overextended for a first go around.
