1st Ed. AD&D. The Proverbial "String O' Modules" campaign concept? Not going to reveal the modules used, to avoid power gaming.

1st edition D&D, you mean using THAC0 and Elf as a class?

THAC0 yes, Elf as a class is Basic D&D. This is AD&D, the version right after that.

I'll play. A few quick things, though... I've never played PbP, and I've never played with AD&D. However, I'm more than happy to learn. So, how many posts per week, and what books/how many levels are available for character creation? Thanks.

Posting will be casual (once a week). All characters will start at first level. Going to keep it to just the PHB.

3D6 (in order) for stats? I kinda want to toy around with characters now, since it will help me get acquainted with the system.

4d6 drop the lowest.

Cool! And we can assign them as we choose? Also, are we trusted to roll or should I use the site's dice roller (not sure how to do that yet)?

Temmogen can activate dice rolling in this thread, or you can always apply to the game now, and he can do all the rolling/chargen in the game forums.

Temmogen, you could open a campaign in the games section whenever, if you want to. No hurry though.

The game has been created. But I didn't know how to activate the dice on this thread, so there is a sub forum for it.

You can edit the original post of this thread, and at the bottom of the edit page, you can see options to allow rolls (and this is also there when you're creating a thread).
