Game Status (Please Check)

Hello, all. I want to thank everyone for their interest in the game. In the spirit of full transparency, I want to post my evening's DMs with DeJoker. I had hoped to continue with the game, but my heart just isn't in it.

I know some of you have respect for DeJoker, and I am partially at fault, I'm sure you'll find. But these DMs have left a bad taste in my mouth, and have spoiled the project. As you can see, I was getting quite snippy near the end of our DMs.

I hope you understand, and don't hold it against me if I call a premature end to this campaign. Thank you for your interest in the game, and I hope we can game again together in the future.

It's a hard and often thankless task being a GM. The last thing the player community wants is toxic idiots attacking those few brave souls who step up to give the rest of us a chance to deep dive our imagination. Shame on you #dejoker

As for not wanting to continue, I get it, no worries. I’d actually be interested in GMing this, if enough folks want to keep with it. And KCC you’d certainly be welcome if you’d like to join as a player. I’d need a few days to prep, but I’m pretty enthralled with the setting. If not, that’s cool too.

I’m comfortable DMing, but new to pbp, so there’ll be a bit of a learning curve for me.

Ok I think the approach I’d like to take is to start a new game based in the same setting. Anybody in this game would be welcome to join and get a spot if they’d like to give it another shot. No need to create new characters, unless you want to. Then I’ll add new players as needed.

Thanks @KCC69 for introducing me to this amazing setting, I’m finding I’m quite eager to dive into it.

So, is anybody interested in trying a fresh start to this?

I'd like to carry on with you DMing, #oddtrails! I'm new to the group but do have a character concept in mind that I'll DM you.

Ok great! I’ll get the game forums setup in just a bit. I’ll need a couple days to prep, but I’m happy to discuss character concepts, etc anytime. The DM notifications are kinda slow on the site for me, so discord (oddtrails#0884) may be preferable, but either way works.

I went ahead and sent an invite to each of you in this game. If you're interested, go ahead and join up. I'll start filling any open spots after a day or two if I haven't heard from you.

KCC, I appreciate your putting this game together, as an enthusiast for trying to get my Lisney Dand world setup I need to eventually accquire this information for... *shifty eyes* play.. yes *ahem*. I hope you join Odd's game and have a grand time with it!
