So important discussion for WoD. It is a darker game, though tehre also are definitely moments for levity. But a lot of the NPCs aren't pleasant people, the PC's have the potential to do unsavoury things and even have sat for slowly losing humanity, seeing what lines they are willing to cross for their beliefs, gain or safety.
Still it's important to know what is as isn't okay for others.
Things to possibly expect: Gore, bodyhorror, a lot of death, possibly eldritch stuff because this is me, abusive relationships, parental and partner, and a lot of other general dark themes, and mental illness (This is a big part of one clan, I intend to portray it respectfully)
The big no is sexual assault will not be tolerated on screen, by players or NPCs. Unless its a trigger for someone else allusions to it in back story is alright.
If there's anything in particular you do not want to see, either say here or let me know in PM. The goal is everyone to have fun.
The second thing: There is a lot of politics and potentially secrets as your characters are trying to survive in the world. Up to you guys if you want everything out in the open, either freely shared among character or just not used to metagame, or whispers, or just try and not have secrets that could cause party conflict.
Similar if you wanna discuss your stance on PvP, as it can be more likely than if other games. I tend to say 'if it is legitimately something that fits the character and situation and both sides are okay, I am cool with it, but I am also happy with a hard no.
Sorry if all the above seems over the top, but I want people to have fun, and it helps to have everyone on the same page. Feel free to bring up anything else people want to discuss.
