This thread is for discussing Fairborne's character please do not post anything here that is not related to Fairborne's character and yes collaborating with Fairborne is consider fair postings.

Please make your rolls in here and outline what your are doing so that I can give you feedback on the world. Do note though this game borrows heavily from the Forgotten Realms so you can use information from that setting to outline your background.

I’m planning a Dragonborn bard. Would you be okay with me using the Draconblood stat bumps from the Wildemount book? +2 intelligence instead of strength?

Well considering you can put a 16 in Intelligence the standard Dragonborn attributes seem more appropriate to that race -- also you will notice your Breath Weapon has become a bit more handy as well. But please look at the Dragonborn adjustments since the parameters are slightly different

Do you want the character sheet here or is dndbeyond viable?
Jan 31, 2021 4:17 pm
Please here -- as I do not have ready access to DnDBeyond and the sheet here works quite well

In the small town of Equesford, so named for the shallows in the river about 2/5ths of the way along the Trade Way from Waterdeep to Daggerford where wild horses used to cross, there is an inn.  The Rising Phoenix Inn is run by a pair of Dragonborn ex-adventurers.  Kalen and Pheria purchased the inn when they opted to retire from adventuring following the discovery that Pheria was pregnant.  Over the years, they had three daughters.  Kalea, the oldest, despite showing prowess with a blade also was a talented brewer so opted to assist her parents with the inn.  The youngest, Pherali, was born with magical abilities in her blood.  Upon coming of age, she joined an adventuring party and left home for the great beyond.

this brings us to the middle child, Arjaak.  Arjaak while a bit shy was a talented musician.  Preferring the bagpipes as her instrument of choice she entertained the patrons of The Rising Phoenix Inn anytime she could be persuaded to do so.  Her preference for activities lies in the delving of old forgotten locations trying to pull the secrets from what she finds within. She has left home looking for people with who she might delve for such secrets.

Where would I find the prices for the consumable magic items we can purchase other than the healing potions in the homebrew?
Feb 1, 2021 11:55 pm
Currently the only listed items are the Healing Potion and the Antitoxin but most 1st-Level Potions cost 100gp a piece provided their are no special spell components and no those are not listed anywhere because DnD5e decided not to do that for some lame reason. I mean I have not met a GM yet that thought it was that great an idea to exclude something that has been part of basic DnD since the 1st Edition and yes I eventually plan to deal with this still that being said potions and scrolls are not cheap by any means.

Oh and eventually I will have other Herbalist, Apothecary, and Alchemist available items that are not magical so that will change the scope of things some.
