All,
I've been re-reading the rules of The One Ring lately, once Phantom volunteered to be a victim to try a Mouse Guard oneshot. As a result, I've opened up a game to run through the introductory adventure. If we all have a good time and want to keep going, we will. If not, we'll either put a bow on it and be done, or swap in new players who'd like to replace those who would prefer to pass on further adventure.
Familiarity with One Ring is a bonus, and not required. I'm not that familiar with it (I've never run it or played it) so I'll be learning as we go as well (as I did with various FFG titles here). Patience, fun and a desire to play in One Ring's Middle Earth are all that's necessary. If you don't have material, I will try and be a patient and capable tutor (this will interrupt gameplay flow a little, but I think that's a worthwhile tradeoff as we learn the system).
