Given that the D00-Lite system uses a D00 instead of a D100, I felt we might need this thread to figure this out, and well, might as well put in some guidelines for posting as well.
- Rolling a D00. Simply put a normal d100 on the dice rolling field. We'll read any result of "100" as "00" instead. In the case of Advantage/disadvantage, if the result can have its 10s and units inversed for a more/less favorable roll, then it will be read as such.
Advantage example: a roll of "72" could instead be read as "27".
Disadvantage example: a roll of "19" could instead be read as "91".
- Bold text: Used for dialogue, your character actually speaking, potentially with the use of quotation marks. Reserving allcaps for yelling.
- Italic text: Used for internal monologue, what your character is thinking, potentially with the use of quotation marks. Alternatively, could also be used for sound affects and various onomatopeia.
- Colored text: Not entirely sure what to do with this. Could be used for descriptive text (i.e. boxed text), perhaps a flashback, or a cutscene (a bit like the old d6 Star Wars game used to do), or could be used to differentiate NPCs in the case of a social scene with several NPCs...
If anything else comes up, I'll put it here in a new post...
