On Downtime

One of the inherent advantages of Play-by-Post is its narrative nature. When it comes to Shadowrun this helps to fill a large gap seen in many Shadowrun games. That being developing a character outside of runs. Downtime is not simply a chance to restock and refresh, but also a chance to explore your character, interact with your contacts/friends/fellow runners in a more casual setting, and simply provide interesting stories about the character. As such, I would encourage everyone to think about writing downtime posts when downtime presents itself, and anyone who does will be awarded 1 karma per downtime.
