Ah yes, I forgot about HP for Trees.

As Hero demonstrates, remember to roll with advantage for hit points for second and third levels - roll twice, take the better. (Max for first level as usual).

So... do we have a melee party member yet?

If I understand how thrown weapons work in 5e, Milo's not much worse in melee than he is at short range.

Yeah, the biggest issue is that Milo's HP and AC are a bit lower than I'd like for him to be a regular melee combatant. But he can do it in a pinch, if no one else makes a melee fighter.

If necessary, I might take something like shadow blade from xanathar's. I'd prefer ranged, but my stats are not too bad for melee combat
