If possible and appropriate, indicate how you would prefer for your character to be elided from the action: Are they just being quiet in the background? Are they busy with something else? Given how time passes in PbP, it may well be simple to just skip you for a while.

A quick heads-up. I'm traveling this week, starting tomorrow (8th) to sunday (12th) I'll be less active here. I should still be able to pop in a few times during the trip.

I'm having surgery on my right wrist tomorrow. I hope I can still post regularly. Don't know what to expect, I'll keep you updated.

Modern surgery is amazing. The speed with which people bounce back boggles the mind. But don't strain yourself... except to expand your mind and learn to do things with your left hand (assuming you are right-handed), it is also surprising how clumsy we can be with our off-hands, especially noticeable in the bathroom.

I am also fine with waiting. We should do so before that action starts anyway, but Norbert and Albert are welcome to talk amongst themselves (bit hard when a key talking point is what to do about the Gold, though).

Either option is fine by me. I don't see to much for Norbert to talk at the moment. He is just scared to fight real people again.

We arrived at Nothingham and are getting ready to visit Warhammer-world tomorrow. Then it is off to the peaks!

Neat. Was trying to find out more and the Warhammer-world site was pretty much broken.

Haven't played any or read any of the 40k fluff. Have, however, read *everything* from the Horus Heresy (ugh!) and am waiting for the final Siege book to land. Then it's off to 40k fluff spoiler and guilt free.

Still on the road. It's turned into a drive the family around all over the place sort of fortnight. I've got no connectivity issues so can post but am pretty beat by the end of the day.

Been ill the last handful of days. I'll make an IC post now but my posting rate is going to be a bit spotty till that tides over, say 3-4 days more. Please carry on as needed

I think I'm going to take a little GP break. It's been tough to find the motivation to post lately. Life has gotten rather busy and I keep lagging behind which translate into me not following the story very well and posting quick uninteresting bits here and there. On top of that I feel bad for making you all wait on my posts.

I'm pretty confident that I'll be back after a while, when more time opens up.

Just had a look at the welcome thread and it says I created Albert almost 3 years ago! Crazy :D

Is there anything else you would like to play? I have enjoyed playing with both of you and will happily run something else for you in lieu of this game.

I think putting this game on hold is good for me. Lille is fun to play and I wouldn’t mind coming back at some point. For the moment, I’ll pass on playing another game. Life has been busy and the holiday season will keep that going for a while. I will see how I’m feeling later, and will be in touch if you find other players.

Thank you. That is useful as it can be hard when a new player drops in and there is no one here to play with.

To be clear. I wasn't saying we couldn't continue in this game, I was just offering a change if we did not want to continue Albert's personal quest without him. We can just as easily find a reason for Lille and Ezme not to continue with the party and go off and have their own adventure in this world (on either side of the border), leaving the current plot-line open for if we want to come back to it later.

We can wait and decide after the holidays and when things have settled down in the world.

So, I really love playing Ezme. I'm fully invested in her character and story and would rather not abandon it. Like @quietpanther, though, I anticipate that lots will be competing for my attention over the next few weeks. Given that, it does make a certain amount of sense to set this game down until more players enter the scene.

If the next player to join us is not @TheGenerator, I'm perfectly comfortable going off on a separate adventure until Albert returns.

Alright. Let's shelve it and see what the future brings.

I've been really enjoying this game. You've been a great GM, @vagueGM, and I appreciate all of you as players, too.

I've actually got a big pbp of my own in the works right now. Don't be surprised if I reach out to you at some point looking for players! (It might not happen right away, as I've already recruited some folks, but there are some important characters who I anticipate will be entering a little later in the story, and it would be nice if they were played by someone other than me!)

It won't be the first time I was asked to step into a game with: 'we need a < blah >'. :)
