⏳ Allowing non-utf8 characters

There are a bunch of places where non-UTF8 characters are escaped into question marks.



Every now and again people report it. Probably time to fix it.

I honestly don't think anyone will object to this one.

Anyone who complains can put their own question marks

...and have their posting privileges revoked for the day.

I'd object for the fun of it, but it isn't worth my posting privileges being revoked. So yeah, go for it.

Can't imagine a case why this shouldn't be fixed. Go for it.
