Not running games (yet) myself, so I can't say for myself. It wouldn't hurt I guess and if it isn't a pain to code it, go for it.

There was talk elsewhere (we really need search) about removing the warning message now that retired games are still 'accessible' (or at least 'listed' they were always accessible if you had a link, possibly from an email notification).
We still can not unretire a game. So we still need a warning that the retire action is permanent (without admin intervention).
