Nikolai shrugs, not tearing his eyes away from the road. "I can drive for longer; it is relaxing. Maybe later., when we get closer to the base - as long as you promise not to get us stuck in the ravine there."

OOC:
Do wait a while more, I want to be able to edit the map again on my home computer to see where your position will be now before I continue.

Nikolai drives all the way back for almost 24 hours. Apparently, having an eldritch near death experience is a good motivation for that. But also, this group is the only sane survivors left that know of the alien presence and conspiracy.

After going pass the giant ravine, the electrician sees the colony base in the distance, and can finally feel relief. The truck soon reach the giant garage and swiftly parked there. The car mechanics and other staff stared at the team with curiosity, wondering what this group of people the stubborn Assistant Communications Officer had sent out have found.
OOC:
I also now remember, I want to ask, your vacsuits have been dirtied with bits of the black substance, and is a potential biohazard. Is there a way you want to prepare before you disembark?
Do you try to clean it? Take it off and store it somewhere? I'll say that the truck have 1 inbuilt radio to communicate with base.

Matsuki takes the radio
Scouting party reporting back. Things went.... badly. We've been in contact with a biohazardous substance and need a decontamination team here
She turns the radio off and looks at Wolf and Zakk
Let's stay inside until the team is here. Don't want the people here to turn into fungus zombies as well

The call was made before the truck enters into the Garage(slight retcon). Waiting inside the truck, the 3 Spacers see that a team in white hazmat suits approach the vehicle. They got to work spraying the vehicle thoroughly before asking for the doors to be opened. While the insides and the vacsuits are being sterilsed, the 3 individuals have themselves checked and confirmed to not be displaying any odd symptoms. Samples of the disinfected mold are taken from the boots for further studies.

After having a thorough shower, Matsuki, Zakk, and Nikolai will be allowed to freely enter the base, where Samantha is waiting for them.

"I am really glad to see you all back and safe. Or, almost all. I am having my IT guy to have a look through Zakk's video camera at the moment. Before I see it, tell me, what happened over there? Tell me everything. And what is this biohazardous substance you came across?"
OOC:
Shall I assume you will simply share everything you experienced?

OOC:
I'm not against sharing everything.
Wolf lets Matsuki and Zakk handle the conversation, more interested in grabbing a drink than remembering the disgusting laughing faces and the odd alien thing with questionable morals. He only pipes up with a brief descriptions of his own actions while alone in the facility, but otherwise stays quiet and uninvolved, idly sheathing and unsheathing his claws while others talk. He yawns a few times, clearly tired after the drive, and by the end of the debriefing actually starts to nod off.

Matsuki gives a detailed account on what happened without leaving anything out. When she is finished telling what they experienced she ends with
And if I can make a suggestion it would be to either evacuate this outpost and move somewhere far away from these fungus monsters or blow the whole compound up with as much explosives as you can muster.
They already made clear that they can and will infiltrate our mind in order to use us against some kind of alliance. If you think about further studying those structures: We've seen similiar structures on our way back here that seem to be inactive. So if you blow up the one we came from, we still have other, less dangerous, ones to study

However, there will be payment. 1000 Credits to each individual who comes back with substantial evidence of The Face's nature and its danger level. 500 Credits will be paid if at least the danger or some idea of the situation can be identified. Reaching the site and deciding to come back due to reasonable danger will be worth 200 Credits.
Samantha pays attention to the details from Matsuki and Zakk and writes it down on her notepad. She then takes out her phone and taps away on it.

"Thanks for risking your lives for me. And I am sorry to hear how we have lost Tariq. I'm sure his vet colleague will take over his duties well, and have any of his family members notified and compensated. I'm sure his death will not be in vain, as we now have evidence to show to HQ that we need greater support to deal with the new alien threat. As for now, you survivors shall get your reward from me. It's the least I can do. Each of you now have 1000 Credits transfered to your accounts. Go ahead to spend it however you wish, but I recommend that you equip yourselves for future tasks. Now, i have to return to my office to write up a report on our situation.

Meanwhile, if you still want to do something for me, you could investigate the group that was influenced by the fungus aliens you found. 200 credits each for any new intel."
OOC:
Would any of you buy something? And will you go to the dining hall and meet up with Oddball? Or maybe you will do that after you have your sleep in your rooms?

Btw, by now, each of you have spent 1 O2 cannister. I'll edit for Zakk only.

And now, I'll make a new thread.
