Characters in Spycraft are often faced with private or personal concerns and lingering business that work their way in and out of the background to compliment or distract a character during a mission. This 'personal baggage' is roleplayed in the form of Subplots - voluntary character options that allows the player to tailor their characters history, enemies, and challenges to their vision while receiving extra experience in the process.
Starting characters may begin play with (1) Subplot.
In looking through the various subplots offered, nothing seems to be jumping out other than perhaps the Game Control Fiat that I feel may be better suited a Crossroads Subplot (see 'Crossroads Subplot' in the Spycraft 2.0 Core Rulebook). So - were I to play this character in a game - I am going to see what kind of subplots might spawn from the story during play.
