Step 9: Description

You are not dreaming ... I did in fact skip Step 8. Step 8 being derived values and simple math to determine that anyone familiar with tabletop RPGs are familiar with determining so did not see it as a necessary step to review.

Step 9 too, one could say is a step that everyone should be familiar with and know how to complete, but it felt weird skipping two steps and finalizing a characters description is an important step I feel often times gets glossed over. A good name and physical description can set the tone of a character and how they will be played.

Name: Harper Moon (no particular reason this came in mind other than my preteen daughters watch a lot of preteen shows on Disney+ and this is a combination of names that stuck with me for some reason).

Code Name: Not something necessary and would largely think would depend on the type of game the GM is running. The source material for inspiration (namely the Mitch Rapp series) had the protagonist with the code name 'Iron Man' - not named for the comic book character of the same name but instead for Mitch's hobby of being a world ranked Triathlon athlete with Iron Man being the top tier distance in the sport. Following the same theme I am going with Number 10 for Harper, referencing the position on the soccer pitch she played in her collegiate career.

Age: 25. No reason other than at 25 she would have graduated from college but still be old enough to reasonably have completed her training as an agent.

Just to roll some dice for height and weight as per Table 1.18 ...

Height: 5'7"
Weight: 140 lbs.

Hmmm ... The random roll generated a pretty heavy woman. I'm going to reduce that to around 140 (for a real world reference the height and weight is fairly average for a female MMA fighter in the ladies' top division. To also match the picture reference I am going to increase the height to 5'11". That should match the picture and provide a young lady who is fit but not big(ish) muscles (like some of the MMA fighters can be) that is more indicative of the 10 value in Strength.

History: I think we have crafted a fairly nice and extensive history in Step 0 so nothing much to add.

Goals: Ditto as above and we can reference Step 0 for a descprtion.

Rolls

Height - (2d12+53)

(104) + 53 = 67

Weight - (85*2d4)

(44) + 85 = 93
