This badge should be shown when the user looking for a game is new, not when the user looking at it is new. 🙄

Currently, the game menu is shown for characters but it only shows "tools".



I think it'd be more useful, if when the character is attached to a game you could access the forum and game details.

At the moment the characters menu shows the character label.



I think it should show the character name.



This will also mean that the rollers will show the name rather than the label.

This already has a poll in the advent calendar.

I don't see myself using this... when I get applicants for a game I might take a look clicking on their avatars to see how long they've been around etc., that seems enough?

Unless they can be sorted by the game they're attached to, I don't think this would improve things. I use prefixes to sort the characters by game, so changing to the character name would remove that functionality for me. However, as I said, if the characters could be sorted by game, it might not matter, and the names would be more helpful than the labels.

That's the character menu on the game menu bar. It only shows the characters in that game (I just had a lot in that game).

SavageBob is right. It's using the name, but sorting by label. I've checked in a fix for that, and it'll be in the next staging release.

I beg to differ, as the badge shows at the LFG section of the homepage. Especially if it will also show at the gamers page, along with the LFG badge. Heck, it can even decrease the need of oldest/newest member shorting.

It's already on the site - but it has a bug. It tells users if "they're" new members, so it's kinda stupid. This fix is to tell other people if a user is new.

I added it because I hate to see new members looking for games. But maybe it isn't useful function? I'm certainly in favour of removing clutter.

I have a different opinion than Dr_B, I'm all for this feature. And since it's supposed to show on the gamers page as well, I'm behind it 100%>
