So we aren't using the character creation thread for that kind of thing.

Intro posts are all up and moving, feel free to respond when possible!

So because I'm going to have to know eventually anyway, what subclass is everyone planning to take?
Jun 12, 2016 9:35 pm
Swashbuckler
Jun 12, 2016 9:40 pm
Subclass? As in Ilori choosing "Path of the Totem Warrior" at 3rd Level?
Jun 12, 2016 9:58 pm
That's what I meant, yeah. Which totem?
Jun 12, 2016 10:07 pm
There are only three options in the PHB: bear, eagle, and wolf, so I choose the eagle. :)
Jun 12, 2016 10:09 pm
Oh, while I am thinking of it, are we going to have some kind of "setting reference thread" that has a list of NPCs, locations, etc. that we can all refer to as needed?

I'll make that thread once I have more info to put in it.

The SCAG also adds the tiger and elk as totem options, as well as the Battlerager path.

College of Lore for me!

I have a separate question. What time zones are all of you on? I'm on GMT+8. Suspect that means I might be slightly out of sync.

GMT -4 I think? Eastern US.

College of Valor, and I'm UTC+10
Jun 13, 2016 1:04 am
I'm also Eastern US (Pittsburgh specifically). And I'm not sure whether I'm going Way of the Open Hand or Way of Shadows
Jun 13, 2016 1:47 am
Ah okay, cool. Well, at least I'm not the only one on the other side of the world :p

Unfortunately, I do not own a copy of the Sword Coast Adventurer's Guide, but the tiger option sounds awesome...

So I need to know because reasons: What is a favorite possession of your character's?
Jun 14, 2016 8:40 pm
Dalaran values his horn above all his other possessions

I assume you're asking this of all of us. Finneas' favourite possession is a glass orb filled with water, in which swims a clockwork goldfish. This used to belong to his twin sister, who ran away from home as a child.

James possesses a leather-and-copper bound book found out in the wastelands. the pages are written in a strange script that he has yet to be able to decipher.

Ilori's favourite possession is her trinket... :)

A shard of blue crystal that produces a beautiful chime when struck. Ilori found the crystal while she was out exploring one day when she was 14. She has no idea concerning the crystal's origins or its original purpose, but did discover the chime effect by accident while playing around with it one day. It fascinates her and it is one of her most prized personal possessions.

Some notes after reading some of your character sheets:

• Please enter your AC on your sheet, or else I will have to assume every attack hits since the program defaults that value to 0.
• Bardic Inspiration is not a magical effect, you can in fact use it without access to spellcasting.

As of my latest post I am declaring a house rule for this game: any time you recieve healing from any source, you may add your Constitution modifier to the number of hit points gained. If you already add your Constitution modifier, you may add it twice.

Just a heads-up: please, when you type up a reply, remember to select your character to display next to the post! It makes things easier for us all.

Sorry, I keep forgetting to do it, though as soon as I notice I normally flip it.

I try doing that, but for some reason the option doesn't show. It did the first couple of times, but not anymore. Can't figure out why.

And welcome, Coldfury/Graeme!

It seems this game has died, my list is getting a bit cluttered with dead games. Let me know if we reboot!
Jan 15, 2017 3:17 am
So terribly sorry everyone, who all is still around and interested in continuing?
Jan 15, 2017 9:02 am
I'm still here.
