Hey there,

I recently had my Safari browser on my iPhone need a swipe-up and restart. Ever since then, after I login to Gamersplane on my iPhone, my cookie seems to time out really quickly, and I have to login every single time I want to use it. Is anyone else experiencing something like this?

If not, I'll start poking around to see if there's something I've accidentally tripped on my iPhone. Having the ability to check threads on my phone is super helpful and helps me get thinking time as a GM, but having to login every single time I want to do so is kind of a drag.

I suppose I could try chrome and see if it's behaving the same way...

Please keep me in the loop. I don't have any iOS devices, so I can't test directly, but I'll see if I can borrow one of the office ones or a coworkers.

Only time i have to do that is if i clear my history. Otherwise i am always logged on.

I'm usually on my Droid or PC, but I'll check the wife's iPhone out when I get home. Usually, the only time I see that problem is when I have to clear out the complete browsing history...or if someone has the privacy settings set up to clear every time the browser is closed.

Chrome on my iPhone has been working perfectly.

Hrm. Thanks -- I'm suspicious that I've got something womperjawed in my settings somehow after the last reboot I did. I'll add chrome to my iPhone and see if that makes problems go away. Apple's cookie behavior is a little fussy in general, so I suspect this is local to my device, even though it's a 1st party cookie and should Just Work.

*obligatory "Get a droid" joke goes here...*

;) :P

Chrome is what I had to install on my wife's iPhone a while back, because Safari was just being stupid. Hadn't had a problem with it since.

I've opened up my cookies on iOS/safari and will see if it behaves.
